Qn) A saturated liquid feed stream consisting of 5 mole% C3, 10 mole% i-C4, 30 mole% i-C5 (light key), 46 mole% n-C6 (heavy key) and 9 mole% n-C7 enters a distillation column having a flow rate of 5000 kmol/h at 2 bar. This feed is required to fractionate in a distillation column, such that the distillate and bottoms streams should contain 1 mole% of heavy key and light key respectively. The reboiler and condenser pressures are specified as 2 and 1.8 bar respectively. A reflux ratio of 1.5 times minimum can be assumed.
