Have you ever visited Sloan Lake in Denver?
According to the Denver Public Library, Sloan Lake (also known as Sloan's Lake) sprung up in 1861 from an aquifer that Thomas Sloan intended to use to irrigate his farmland. The lake expanded overnight to 200 acres but now covers closer to 177 acres of surface area.

Ski Wipe Out

Ever wonder what it looks like to lose your balance while skiing? Luckliy no one was hurt in this video and I was able to laugh off the wipeout. This is my first season skiing so I'm still falling from time to time and hope that practice will lead to improvement. If you have any tips on what I could do to prevent falls like this let me know!

April means Spring skiing so bring on the sun and fun as the last days of the season quickly approach. I had the opportunity to ski Vail for two days in April and got to experience everything Spring has to offer on the mountain.
