Hi , it's doing great and no scratches. the case is made of aluminium. but if case fall it will have some damage due to the soft metal the case is m1de from... but better some damage at the case when fall instead of camera 😃 It's a very good case and still fits for the action 4 if want to upgrade.

@@iboughtsomething they said the cage can cause a dent for the camera. Probably there are some bump inside the frame of the cage that cause this that’s why I’m kinda curious to know. Appreciate your reply.

@@iboughtsomething Also, have you tried using rode wireless mic? Does it fit nicely with the cage?

@@jeffreymantaran I haven't tryed the wireless microphone on it but that would give ut a great look together. The cage from in the video looks absolutely great with it and i love how amazing it looks but also how easy it is to change batteries without removing the game or attach something to it. Also the press button to record on the cage is super.flexible working.

Could be the people at the airsoft and airguns department testing out or demonstration for so far i can remember.

This also works for the Action 4, does your Action 4 also have this problem perhaps? It was a factory defect with the first series of the action 3 but I would be surprised if the Action 4 would also have this problem.

1- the lens assembly is screw on/off type 2- no more than 1/2 turn is needed 3- mark the the lens assembly against the camera for set position 4- can use a locking pliers ( just enough force to lock/hold the lens assembly so you can apply torque to turn it ) 5 - record at 4k120fps until it overheats/stops recording to warmup the camera for easier adjustment 6 - once the lens assembly is loosen, it may drift when the camera get hot

If you turn the lens too far, the background will indeed become blurry; twist a little bit and do a test. Even if you wrongly twisted the lens completely wrong, it is always possible to get it right, I had connected my action cam to my large computer screen so that I had a good large image to correct the lens. If the lens is set up perfectly, you will keep a sharp image in the background and also on your face! Look at my images from before and after.

Sorry for the late answer, It is in the fish market hangar located in the city Ostend in Belgium, There is twice a year a military fair. It's in March and the 2nd time it's in September. It is always around the 20th of these months and is always on a Sunday, but the dates are a bit different every year because it depends on when the Sunday of this weekend falls.

@@louyht7 depends bit on circumstances what you will be filming during the day or night and if they are shaking images or not. Certainly I would not use the iphone and I would rather choose the gopro (if it is a recent model at least) or else I would choose the dji action 3. Which model of gopro do you have ?

Not sure about the warranty on the camera if you correct the lens yourself. Waterproof will be ok because it is mainly the round protective cover that keeps the lens waterproof. Just turn the protective cap back on firmly as it was.

Quite right, I now think the Action 4 with its slightly larger sensor compared to the Action 3 is perfect, it is as you say dark remains dark and if with the right settings what I demonstrate in the video one can see what you see with your own eyes and remain razor sharp, then this should be enough. I understand a lot of people that they like it better to see a little more, but the reality of the real dark as it is has disappeared. Thanks for your comment. Night is night and should stay dark, but sharp. I have Action 3 and Action 4 and do you know what: now, the new Pocket 3, which is my latest buy, is fantastic. I even made lot's of 'kitchen' recordings outside my RUclips studio and they are amazing. Ok, for action nothing compares with the action 4, but on the go or as fixed installation, the Pocket 3 is unbeatable. Especially with the new DJI Mic2. The Dji action had been mounted on top of my ZVE10 with some rubber bands and My ZVE10 was mounted on the gimbal Zhiyun Crane M2s.

Yes, the rotation of the lens can indeed differ from each camera. It is indeed best to twist the lens in steps and do a small test. Another good tip is if you are sure of the focus that you put a very small amount of seconds glue on both sides of the screw to keep the lens in place. If you just film with it and don't put it on a shocking bike, it's ok. I'm glad you helped me focus your camera

Great to hear, check out the box when purchasing this camera. The production date is on and so you are less likely to buy a copy with the wrong focus adjustment.

The strength of the light is only not adjustable is RGB mode which is not so bad for film recording in studio but for taking photos I think controlling is important. But it is definitely a top light for filming at night with normal light function. Next review i will come up with a stong but smaller one where the RGB is adjustable! cheers

Oh yes it's handy light for taking pictures as when night filming and also usable for a party. Only a pity that AC adapter is not included in the purchase and must be purchased separately. Thank Amy for the support!

It is the protective cover that rotates on it that protects the lens from water. But after twisting the lens, it is best to put some glue on the thread so that the lens does not twist back due to vibrations.

@@hurricanehao I have used seconds glue (super glue) But do not use excessive glue in the trench where the thread is because that is also the thread that is used where the protective cap of the lens must be turned. Too much glue in the trench will lead to you no longer being able to turn the protective cap on. 2 drops of glue in the trench on the 4 sides of course is enough. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them

Place a cotton cloth over the lens and your front screen and press it down well when you tighten and twist the lens. If the tweezer jumps off the lens then the lens is protected by the cotton cloth.

The pocjket 2 is a nice camera or maybe you need to wait cause the pocket 3 should be released in april.....

your welcome, do not use any tools other than a tweezer otherwise you will damage the lens.

That's quite right, the Pocket 2 is designed for vlogging and the Action Cams for action. The action cameras are starting to get popular for vlogging as well. Hopefully in the future a 1 inch sensor in the action cameras. Personally, I don't like to vlog with the pocket 2 because you always have to think that you have to turn the camera around a bit when you film yourself because otherwise your face will be out of the picture.
