I usually use the fence, getting them one by one, did it with the defenser sns pretty early on ! Exept that for the big one I was too bad to dodge him so I had to take the L and just get half the bounty (3-4 death before I could kill him). Btw this quest is amazing to get free money in the early game !!

Honestly, i run full attack boost and full defense with alatreon great sword and temporal mantle and finish this pretty fast in about 3 mins. But DAMN THIS MIGHT BE THE NEW META!

You're not doing it right. You're supposed to hold X while doing Air Dash.

the air dash though is formidably efficient when inflicting mounting state on monster while in CSS mode

It’s because you weren’t doing crits also

You have to Hold the X button while CSS is active and press X again to do a down slam or A to do a discharge X lets you change direction while A just sends you flying.

I'd say it's akin to a side-grade for the original Switch Skill: in exchange for losing guaranteed extra damage on boosted sword attacks and shield thrusts you get the capability to store damage on specific parts of a monster that can have very devastating effects. A stored series of Impact Phial blasts has absurd flinch and KO potential in the right spots, and the shield boost recharge results in more overall uptime on Axe Mode damage.

You can aim after using the awaken kinsect... The delay in using it enough time to correct your aim to monster... Altough using controller much easier to change it to super fast camera

Even a few expiring due to poor placement, downtime to make sure you place them correctly, undesired locations or the enemy flees before you can pop, makes this skill Significantly inferior to standard, the extra damage of Firing Pin is too low, restrictive and highly prone to rng, that it ventures outside of skill into luck. Fun skill, but just all round worse.
