Try using the USB method or unplug the PS4 for 30 seconds then plug it back in and turn it back on. Both method should solve the problem.

I did do the update via the USB method by downloading the PS4 3.50 update off the PlayStation website (Help-System Update-PS4 System Update-Update using a computer). First, create a folder using a USB storage device named "PS4" then inside that folder, create a folder named "UPDATE". After you done that, download the update file and save it the "UPDATE" folder and save the file called "PS4UPDATE.PUP". Connect it your PS4 and then go to Settings then System Software Update and follow the direction to complete the update. This USB method takes about 3-5 minutes to complete, and it's the quickest way to get the update faster. I hope this helps.
