Did you ever find the answers to the questions you posed at the end of the last video such as can you roll the bond into the mortgage?

Of these homes, I really like the Oriole if it can be stretched out about 3 feet in the rear so I could put my dining table between the kitchen and the lanai and use the dining area for my piano and things from my front parlor.

Of the homes you looked at, I like the first one. My favorite is the Robin.

After just finding out what the monthly costs are in the Villages I’m not sure why anyone moves there at all, rent or buy. You’re shelling out twice what you would pay elsewhere in Florida and make no mistake, if you paid less than $750k you are living in an Airbnb

Thank you for this video and info. You did not mention in “Cons” what I would anticipate as one of biggest: That the owner decides to sell the home and you are suddenly forced to move. Is this not a distinct possibility? Thank you.

I liked you laughing! Why would he want to edit that out? It lets your personality shine through and makes the video more lively. Your hubby comes across a little dry.

I can add another complaint, I thought the rec centers with the small indoor gym was included in your amenity fee, but it is not cost extra to use it !!

I completely agree with you about the NO sidewalks!!! In some subdivisions or villages is a safety problem and a great danger to walkers !!!!! Where I live there’s a very sharp bend and if you’re walking around it to get to other places to walk many of the drivers will drive very fast around the bend so you always have to watch out be ready to jump out of the way off the road into somebody’s grassy yard.

Wouldn’t 20 foot ceilings cost very much for air conditioning!?

I still don’t know why people want double sinks? Do people really brush their teeth together? I keep thinking if you have two sinks that’s just one more sink to clean. My parents had only one sink in each bathroom and everybody did fine.

Wow, that’s really sad that there’s no Katie bells anymore. That was long before I came , but I think it was a really wonderful idea to have a dance place just for villagers and a unique atmosphere and music and bar. At the present time at all, the squares are open to everyone from all the towns around and anybody who wants to visit, which makes it a tourist spot and interesting. However it makes it often very crowded so the villagers don’t have their own place anymore. I’m sad that I didn’t get to see the original one and experience it. 😔

Getting any one of these homes may be like winning the lottery. Really curious to see the premium prices for this location.

Love your well thought out systematic home search. We leave Friday from Oregon to our rental in The Villages and our home search will begin. Really like the Kingfisher and the Cormorant.

They should move the homes closer to the street to increase yard size. No one uses their front yards, not even the front door. You park in the garage and enter through the mud room.

I LIVED IN NAPELS FOR THE 3 MONTHS FOR A JOB THAT DID NOT WORK OUT IN 2011 . SO I HAD TO DIRVE ALL THE WAY BACK TO SAN JOSE. IT'S A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO BE. I RENTED A ROOM ON 111TH AVE OF HWY 41.

I’m interested in TV; love all the golf, activities and outdoor lifestyle. However I couldn’t handle 95% of the lots. Way too close. The verandas are appealing as they offer some privacy. We’re a few years away. The key for us will be finding the right lot. Chatty Chatty has some great ones.

I’m annoyed that I will never get to retire or move to a lovely place like this as I had to spend my 401k and savings on my mother’s nursing home. So appreciate what you have.

Great video..they should offset the lanais, even if a tad…would make them more appealing. We loved the tallpine and picked it. We compromised on the toilet in with the shower area but we got a big pantry and offset lanai.

The bond on the new homes is outrageous...over 50k. Bonds for homes at least 5 years old is under 20k.

Thank you for another good video. My wish list would include some pocket doors, a large kitchen counter with lots of cabinets, no carpeting, a large laundry room, two and a half car garage and not a kissing lanai.
