Okay my opinon on this rank (sorry for saying this) is trash also was it really necessary to add the older songs in the mode I get that you can use it to back up your opinion on the song on how it changes but putting it in the same tier list is odd plus am I not sad that alone v2 is 6th place

Okay, I’m back again (and hopefully for the last time maybe). I’ve already made a comment similar to this on Neo Studio’s/Yallettter’s video, but here are some interesting things that I thought were worth bringing up in regards to some of the songs in this mod: NASU: The name of the song is a play off from the Japanese word “nasubi” which means eggplant (makes sense since the main gimmick of the original NASU console game in Yume Nikki is collecting eggplants). Evilkaru: Apparently, the whole reason as to why this song even exists at all is that the mod’s director, TheRoyalTony, thought that adding it would be a very funny surprise for Penkaru to find (he lost his sh!t in a good way when he eventually encountered it on his playthrough of the mod). Deep Dream: 1. Madotsuki, Monoe, Monoko and Poniko’s vocal chromatics are sampled from actual people, being Koiwai Kotori, Saku Mizuno, Maria Naganawa and Tara Strong respectively. 2. According to the composer of Deep Dream (Eden’s Essence), there’s apparently a Saster motif at the end of Monoko’s Phase (more specifically the moment before Monoko turns into a freaky monstrosity after Madotsuki becomes a traffic light). 3. At the end of the song, Madotsuki supposedly k@lls herself like how she does at the end of the original game (this is because the ending cutscene at the end of Deep Dream uses the same one in the original Yume Nikki game but take it as you will). No More: 1. Apparently, there was an early version of both Mama and Tattletail’s sprites that were mistakenly included in another FNF mod called Funkin’ Peanuts. 2. Ruby was originally going to die at the end of No More, but it ended up not coming to fruition and was cut out of the mod entirely. Mortis: 1. The cinematic cutscene where John and Father Garcia do the bro handshake at the end of Mortis is the same one that was from the True Ending run in Chapter 3 of Faith, with it being a supposed reference to the where actors Arnold Schwarzenegger and Carl Weathers locked their arms together in the beginning cutscene of “The Predator”. 2. When making the sprites for Father Garcia, Omni-Man was apparently used as a base reference for him. 3. Airdoff, the creator of Faith, has acknowledged the mod since he noticed (and liked) the well-done character spritework in Mortis on his Twitter account. Face Me: 1. Since you didn’t mention it (but probably already know since it’s kinda common knowledge at this point), The Dog’s vocals were sampled from William Dafoe himself, and it specifically came from his role as the Green Goblin from the Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 1 tie-in game (LMAO). 2. Speaking of The Dog’s vocals, most people that I’ve seen have criticked saying that they can’t hear him at all in Part 1 for some reason. The main reason for this inaudibility is due to the song itself being set in Mono (switching your headphones/device settings to Stereo usually helps negate this issue). 3. David’s design is based off from the Kazoo Kid (LOL) and according to an art doodle by one of the devs on Twitter, his favourite mod is strangely enough Adventure Isle (for reference, Ruby’s is Dead Air while Sara’s is Bop City). 4. Apparently, during the very beginning of the transition to Part 2, the Metal Pipe sound effect faintly plays in the background but in reverse. 5. This song is apparently gonna get a remake and it will likely come out sometime whenever it’s done (it plans for better mixing in Part 1 and some instrumental changes for Part 2). Mind’s Eye Squared: 1. This song is actually a remix/remaster of an original variant called “Mind’s Eye” by blackberri/samiiwave which is available on RUclips (it’s essentially just the same thing except that it has a much slower tempo/mysteriously ominous vibe present throughout the runtime, some of the melodies are slightly different, and the FAKDOG section is completely non-existent since it was made specifically/exclusively for Step Right Up by artist Mac Cheese). 2. There’s a second variant of this song that’s labelled as the “OST Version”, which is the one that I refer to (this one has a slightly different intro sequence, it doesn’t have The Dragon’s voicelines during the transition to the Middle Phase, and the ending has an immediate cut off). 3. Chainmail Chasers, the horror web series that this song is based off from, is apparently canon to the universe of Step Right Up (The creators themselves have also acknowledged the mod too on the official visualiser upload on RUclips).
