At the start of the oil change unscrew the oil filter housing till you hear the oil in the housing trickling back down into the sump. He did do this as you will notice, but the eagle eyed did notice that when he further loosened the housing there was oil draining back to the sump. So we can conclude he never used his ears to listen!

So in order to change brake pads only, I just need to take those pins out and swap pads right. Looks like a easy weekend DIY,

Don’t use the small bolts on top to remove the caliper! Those are NOT serviceable items. Use the large bolts on the carrier frame in the rear. Replace the large bolts as they are one time use. 👍🏼

I did my first oil change on my Mk7.5 and it had what's called an adapter valve. It has o-rings on it, which I can't replace because the new oil filter didn't come with it. Does the adapter valve just have to be replaced?

I have 2018 RS3, My Audi dealership told me that I’ll need to replace brake pads around 30K KM. I never tracked my car or been aggressive on my car. Is this normal to change brake this fast.

What screwdriver for removing the grub screw on the disc?

i’m trying to put the carrier of the caliper back in and the rear break pad just won’t slip in, did you have to do anything specific or am i missing something small?

I am just curious, why did you go with oem when they are non floating disc? It seems that old version was two piece floating?

Im guessing the discs are not oem but zinnerman which cost like £150 per disc rather then £400
