Do you have the plans
This was a good idea poorly executed
That's really cool. They should make Solid Works Projects of Benz Patent Motorenwagen as well as the Cadillac Model A, the Original Penny-Farthing (1865) and the First Bianchi Bicycle (1885). Also the 1894 Bernardi 3.5HP
Would you be willing to share the SW file?
I'm making a replica for Museum. Would it be possible to get a copy of your CAD files. Thank you
Stl file
Pleas have you st file? My email is simone.dallai48@gmail.com!!
just found this project and read the whole forum thread. this is amazing work! the links for the plans that were on weebly no longer works. any chance of getting plans/files added to a google drive?
Sorry I can't share them anymore due to Copyright issues
@@vascon2196 understood.
Dave Dunlavy has the original plans for sale. Google his name and the Quadricycle and you'll find his plans!
@@vascon2196 excellent. Thanks!
I once took a lot of close photographs of the Quadricycle at Henry Ford Museum ( 1980s ) and studied the pulleys and sprockets and it appears to have a final drive of about 1 : 1 with the crankshaft to the wheels. Or even less. ( ???) I don’t get it. The belt on crankshaft to first pulley is like 2 : 1 overdrive. They all look like an overdrive. I like to see it in operation I am missing something.( ????)
Can you please do analysis on this
Perfect that you did this on Christmas eve now only if you did it on the kitchen sink like Henry Ford.
The camera work is making me dizzy, but I love the machines
visit my page fordquadricycle1896.com/MOTOR/ I´m making in Inventor.
Love to get an assembly drawing of this. I am making in Solidworks.
Did you complete the model in Solidworks?
Cool, lets hope the full size one looks as good.
The pump send water to the boiler...I used tap water.
Very nice presentation :)
Really Nice, which programm did you use?
Very nice! I think this is going to be my next engine when I get done building my 4 inch boiler. I am sorry to say John of the steam chest is not longer with us.
@balak121 Go to the store "the steam chest" on ebay and he sells castings and completed boilers, i read somewhere that the guy that sells them will machine all of the things on the boiler for $55 more
nice one !
That must have been some show- such a variety of engines, most enjoyable!..thanks.
@Axbent its okay ive built numerous engines just want a nice boiler.
@Axbent and a lathe with other machine tools to machine the tie rods.
i would love to build that boiler but the only thing stopping me is resoruces i have the money, i just dont have the tools-(lathe and mill). I can soleder just not machine. any suggestions. please help.
