I remember my childhood,in our purok,the neighborhood had a purok /communal garden.every Saturday or Sunday,we came together to tend to the plots of veggies.our barangay captain would come to visit us there,giving motivations fo us all.i guess the barangay leadership can or should give priority on helping producing our own food supplies like vegetables and even backyard poultry.

Canned and processed food items only require lesser time to prepare,so until thorough education on good nutrition,Filipinos continue to come out sick early.

I don't know him, yet I imagine he could make "excellent" your "2nd chance" etc., dreams and desires for development of the young and those who missed out on proper "Education". This is in a quicker and much more economic output and level. In addition to the tutors via retirees, you could add our Scottish "night school" approach system. This facility, without coercion, enabled one to do something about their own lack of "Education". The latter was often due to status quo school "family" perennial picking, lack of proper Education, etc., and of course many social settings experienced by students. The facility mentioned there above can be totally organised and structured to accommodate many age, cognitive and "other" educational range elements. God Bless and love you in your efforts to achieve a standard of Education for all, nationally, regionally and locally. Your desire for the students to receive fairness through "Education", appears to come from the centre of your heart, agreed? It would be good to see a dispassionate discussion on the viability of nuclear power to create a reliable and affordable base load energy source vis-a-vis other green alternatives. Those people after such devastation certainly need encouragement help direction and comfort etc on the land.(Lord help us all!). Amazing belief in God after such devastation! I enjoyed listening to episode 86 of your series. Near the end I felt an echo of your "context" previously heard and felt in Scotland. What were the three words the attorney used? Was it "accountability", "transparency" and "checks and balances". We have been hearing the first two for decades in this country Yet, there is no one to alleviate the economic big checks for the status quo and the exceptionally low economic balance the people receive because "they" the so called servers served themselves". Obviously, the way things are done suits or the charter would at least be reshaped to immediately meet the needs of the people. The people know what they want now. Further is it the budget ,"outflow" so to speak that contributes to the possible additional mentioned "corruption?" When some have the focus and pride in the investment one would tend to be warned through niggling trepidation, agreed? Thus a little fear, not only for the people but also for the constant hidden oppression, agreed? So far the result of such a strategy is I suspect, seen even here, where the rich become richer and the poor become poorer! Thank you to you all and have a Blessed Happy Life. I agree totally agree. Agriculture was the backbone of the industrial revolution. Our economic and political policies have been perpetually in conflict. To succeed we need economies of scale so we xan gave good security which is the most basic of our needs. I shuddered when Prof Arcilla said the the children of OFWs will become OFWs themselves and this will be perpetuated unless we do something about it now. Unfortunately, his is a voice in the wilderness. I have continously wondered on our agrarian and agricultural policies, for one ... enough said 😢😢😢 Btw thank you and congratulations to all, I asked my graduate students to write a thought paper on this thoughtful discussion.
