Well we really did it this time. A chunk of tree fell into the blower while cutting and now we've got the clog to end all clogs. Very quickly this produced a dangerous dust cloud. Just look at all that backed up hilarity. Your patch does not match the grain direction of the arm. That glue up may hold but only because because of the dowel.
I wonder what shipping might cost across PA lol, be sweet to get some slabs from you
What do you do with the scrap pile?
We fill up that rack, put a steel band around it and sell it as a bundle for $50.

Does this preserve the wood?
It's more so used as a wood polish and conditioner, but it is not typically used as a preservative for wood. The main purpose of lemon oil is to restore the natural shine and luster to wood, and to help protect it from drying out and becoming brittle, so when used it can increase the lifetime of what youre applying it to but it won't prevent the wood from decaying or protect it from insects

I'm using Mahoney's oil. Great but it does dry matt. what is the luster of lemon oil when it drys? Thanks.
