I struggle to let go of clothes that are smaller than my current body because i have lost weight in the past, given away clothes, then have nothing to wear as my weight fluctuates. But what is even harder is letting go of my past life where i dressed more formally and had more fancy occasions to go to and felt great. It's a bit sad to realize my too small dresses might not get worn even if/when i get smaller because i dont have fancy occasions to attend anymore. I miss that life.

I bought this backpack as was so excited to take it on its first trip. Unfortunately, I bought a large size and it doesn’t meet airline requirements for a personal bag. ☹️

Thank you, I needed to hear this today. I will give myself permission to accept that I am evolving, and I give myself permission TO evolve. I deserve to love what I am wearing, and be comfortable in it, and to stop punishing myself for the weight fluctuations. My fashion journey has been rough the last couple of years, as I try to develop my style and who I am now. I've bought and donated so many pieces that are not "me". Just yesterday I took FOUR black shirts out of my closet, that I bought last fall, that still had tags on them. Three were different styles of the same shirt, and one was one that I have & love in white and bought a second in black thinking I'd love that too. But actually removing them from the closet is hard, thinking maybe I will wear them THIS fall. I gotta be strong.

I did the decluttering I have 100 items in my wardrobe and own 100 items, including underwear and shoes. So freeing

The stuff you've done was well worth it. No way would anyone have guessed you were 53. I thought you were in your mid to late 30s to 40's at most! You also have a youthful personality. Has anyone ever heard of the airline weighing your personal item bag? I’m flying to Italy via ITA Airlines & they said there’s a weight restriction on your personal item bag also. Never heard anyone say that before!
