The story behind the songs written by Bruce Springsteen
Bruce Springsteen - Stolen Car (V5) - Band rehearsal, The River studio sessions (January, 1980)
“Stolen Car” is actually the tale of two songs. The first “Stolen Car” was written, recorded and sequenced for release on the aborted album, The Ties That Bind, between June and September 1979. Springsteen later re-wrote and re-recorded the song and released it on The River in October 1980. “Stolen Car” was first recorded at Power Station on June 20-21, 1979, with takes attributed to the latter date.
Take 3 (V4) was selected for The Ties That Bind, with final dubbing and mixing (by Bob Clearmountain) on September 24, 1979. It was later officially released on Tracks in 1998, and on The River Single Album in 2015, now dubbed “Stolen Car Vs. 1”. V3 is the fourth and last distinct take of this...

This is a rehearsal workout at Telegraph Hill on February 5, 1980 of a song that was bootlegged under the title “Slow Fade”. Unfortunately, the true title of this song is a mystery since it has not appeared in studio documentation anywhere, we have no audio evidence beyond what is listed here, and the lyrics are buried in the mix. However, modern AI techniques allow us to extract vocals from au...

Просмотров 90514 дней назад
“Sherry Darling” was recorded at Atlantic Studios on June 24 and 27 and July 1, 1977 during the Darkness sessions, but was held over for the next album for thematic reasons. V1 and V2 are from one of these three dates. Inspired by sixties frat-rock bands such as The Swingin’ Medallions and The Kingsmen, it was premiered live during the Darkness Tour with a spoken introduction: “This was a song ...

The typical major and minor bar chords are not only difficult to fret for ANY player, they mostly sound terrible as well! Most great electric players use partial chords and also power chords without thirds. The use of a capo on acoustic guitar is not ‚cheating‘, it‘s to be able to integrate open/unfretted strings.
ファンにとってもアメリカ🇺🇸にとってもお宝ですね
Stuff It Boss Man!
Bruce Springsteen awesome L M E9820
Tenth Avenue Freeze Out Darkness On The Edge Of Town I'm On Fire Secret Garden Human Touch
Sad that he thought the Dems were the answer when they are the problem 😩
Ok, but I can’t see any bar code… 🤔
So schön gesungen ❤❤❤danke
I know a guy who got serious finger issues from playing barre chords... He told me he even got operated.
F Bar Chord is the biggest bastard in the universe
Nice👍👏😊
Tunnel of love Boss
❤️❤️👍👍🎸🎸
amazing
Anders Zeitalter, trotzdem braucht er nicht wie so ein King darumhängen!
It's sad to watch him mentally decline so fast
i only play barre chords
Here to remind Howard and Bruce that TRUMP is the POTUS🤣
Using barre chords for a 3 hour live show?! 😂
I saw him in Akron Ohio opening up for Black Oak Arkansas.
INCRIBLE MUSICIAN

Wunderschön gesungen ❤❤❤
Stanton Light 1979 I'm driving a stolen car through a pitch-black night I'm telling myself everything's gonna be alright But I ride by night and I travel in fear No matter what I do or where I drive Nobody ever sees me when I ride by
tougher than the rest is the one i listened more times
Ŵho is he
I always wondered who did the original lead vocal on this song it sounds so different than what I'm used to from Bruce
Wonder who he is singing about in this one?
That's Kamala boy
😎 👌
This explains it. I went to see him play, and was close enough(11th row) to clearly hear and see him sing "sways", but was always mystified that the album said waves.
He did that in St. Louis too at the beginning of the River tour, October 1980. BTR started and he forgot the words. Completely clammed up. St. Louis.
My favoryt musician lov❤❤❤😅
Es mi canción favorita
Born in the USA was actually anti American
He sucks
I'm in the minority but I could never fully dig the "Full Band" version of SC. The version on The River is much more sombre and brings out the futility in the lyrics. This version sounds more like a Mellencamp album track (and I mean that as a compliment as The Coug has many a great song himself) although its always a treat to hear Danny on the accordion.
There are so many open chords available on guitar. A capo is just an aide to change keys. If all open chords are not "by the book", it's only because the book is out of date. Consider some simple ope chords, that may not be often taught: Cmaj7 = X32OOO, Dsus4 (add 6 and 9) = X540(00) Em = 075000 G (6?) = X[10]900(0) If those are too exotic start with: G = 320033 C2 = X32033 Dsus4 = X(0)0233 Em = 022033 A minor-ish = X02033 etc...
This is a good one
These are Better Days baby!
The boss went full Biden, you never go full Biden 😂
Mick Jagger doesn't get recognized much for his harmonica skills but he can really play.
I thought Howard retired years ago??
Skill issue
Dude went from blue collar man to white dudes for Harris. Great ad for Low T therapy
I hate Springsteen
Fantastické, dechberoucí ❤❤❤😊
