There were even some more booths, but I couldn't get to those. We were filming while Matteo Mancuso played, and no one was at the booths, but some were locked up. Some may call it heresy to not listen to such a virtuoso. But it were just too many notes for my liking. Cheers, Martin

Hi! Do you happen to own an AZ? To me, the Q necks feels more familiar, it's basically a C shape neck. The AZ on the other hand has more 'shoulders' and feels a bit blocky in comparison. I'd say the Q neck is rounder and a bit thinner too, but that's just by feel, I didn't measure it. Hope this impression helps! Cheers, Lukas

@@LMGuitarCorner You know, I hadn't considered the weight, that's a valid point...

At this years Guitar Summit they did present a version without the integrated pedals which starts at around 2500€. We have a video from that one too. Also, if you consider that all the metal parts are made of Grade 5 Titanium, it's not that bad of a price. Machining that material takes a completely different toll on the tools than even high grade steel, but that also means, it will probably not have any relevant wear in your lifetime. When you compare it then with other highend manufacturer like Gibson, Fender or PRS, I think it's not unreasonable anymore. Of course it is not in the price range of an "import" guitar from Asia, but for these mechanisms you can't use half assed machinery or materials... Cheers, Martin

@@LMGuitarCorner don't get me wrong, I'm all for this type of guitar as it's up my alley. I mean the physical pedals not needing patch cables and they actually volt in like some robot is something to behold. Shark Guitars is doing God's work right now. What a time to be alive.

Thanks a lot for watching! Yeah, I can totally recommend Guitar Summit to any guitar nerd. There is so much to see. I could have been there for a whole week probably. There are also the workshops and masterclasses, so 3 days is actually very little time to go through it. That's why we have mostly very short videos of the booths only, because to see really everything, there is no time to talk with all of them. Cheers, Martin

No, this does not allow you to run the pedal on 18V, sorry. The components that also require to be changed for that are the Zener Diode D4, otherwise you'll burn out your LED sooner or later (probably sooner), and the filter caps C12 and C17. Also, the OP amps I've used can handle up to 22V supply, but are recommended to be run between 5-15V. So probably also not the best idea to use these. Cheers, Martin

They certainly have their sound. I personally didn't enjoy the round back of the one I played, but of course, that's totally subjective. I've just now seen that they also make ones with a carve in the back. I should have taken a look if they had one of those at the booth. Cheers, Martin

Those sound like awesome concerts. I've just seen Aynsley Lister in my local village, also a great player and musician. Chris Buck is among my absolute favorite guitar players. He gets so much feel into his playing. I hope to see him somwhere close as well and take my daughter with me. She also got totally into it when we were going to see Ally Venable. Cheers, Martin
