You get hyper armor during bayles attacks, and the dragon communion spells that arent the breath. Poise isnt necessary and your scadu defense and attack translate if you invade in the dlc, so you can run a dravon form blue dancer build amd have still 50 defense across the board. Its worth going for with the great boost to dragon spell damage in general and with the stone dragon heart buff. I one shotted every person i fought in my vid lol

Was searching for a Video and found you just tanking everything with 13 Estus and so much Defense a Hit does only 16% Damage to you.... its no challenge when you can take 6 hits before you die ...
