What the closet it shaves I want for my bf a 5 o’clock shadow but the beard trimmer I bought him still isn’t short enough

Been using this shaver for a year almost. Once blades are new there is no problem but they go dull very fast so I've changed them like 4 times during year. You can get a job done but they kinda pull on hair when they get dull. I guess it has to do something with beard and skin types.

Got mine straight out of the box. Does not cut.. Just pulls on my hair. Taking back to shop tomorrow.
