My new 7 gallon trachy I planted this year in April spear pulled and I don't know why? The fronds shrank and dried, but it stayed green. And the spear that was opening up closed back up. I pulled on it today and popped out and the spear that was coming too did the same thing. What happened for the palm to do that?

I agree. I'm in sw wales and mine has looked after itself for 17 years. It stands as high as my bedroom window now, and copes with coastal winds, dken to -10 and neglect. My cat hangs out in it too. 😂

I thought you were a Scot when you said the plants name then quickly realized not... Then I listened to your short like three times trying to figure out which region of Ireland you were from.

It's not dogs that need to be on a restricted list, it's some potential and current dog owners. People are the main reason for dogs acting out.. period! A properly trained PERSON who understands how to handle a dog is better than a fantastic trained dog that has a moron for an owner.

I don't want to hate but I think it might be worth changing the bond on the end. The reason for this is the straight joint is a weakness and will most probably fall over in time because of the pressure of the bed inside.
