I trained with Sensei Ken Robson (Kendo) back in the day at RAF Leeming, achieving 2nd Dan Black Belt. He's a good guy and back then the classes were indeed geared to cover street situations as well as traditional Aikido.

Jay, I don't know if you'll be seeing this comment, but I had no idea your father passed away. My condolences. I found the 2 episodes "Mop N' Pop" and "Father Knows Bets" were touching and my favorite episodes featuring Jake and Sly respectively managing to get on good with their fathers. It sounds like your relationship with your father was good. My father passed but I never had that good relationship with my father. So both you and your Jake character were lucky.
