Thanks for help in understanding fasting. It seems like the motive and heart behind our fast is very important to God. My letting go of my agenda and trusting God is often challenging to my” self denial”!

As we continue our fast today please keep Los Angeles in your prayers specifically Palisades, Sunset, & Eaton for the fires that are devastating the area! Many have lost their lives and fires have destroyed large parts of these communities. Our hearts are heavy for the people of LA. Pray for protection of families, friends, & first responders, and for the fires to be contained and stopped!

Spain didn't become a country until the 15th century. Regardless, when I was a Baptist, little red flags finally went off in my head when I accepted the fact that there was nothing like a Baptist for 16 centuries after Christ was crucified. There are only three forms of Christianity that have roots in the beginning - Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, and Oriental Orthodoxy. They all look very similar. They all believe in regenerative baptism, the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist, confession, the liturgy is a re-presentation of Calvary, etc. Why anyone would think that the Almighty would finally reveal "real" Christianity 16 centuries after Pentecost is beyond me.

Religious beliefs are poison and a scourge upon humanity.

We made it to the end of 2024. We are excited to see what God has in store for us in 2025. We are walking the way of Jesus, together, as his spiritual family. Hope everyone is having a wonderful start to their year! God bless.
