Yellow you mean?
I honestly hate Honda for this. I shouldn't have to remove panels to get to a commonly replaced component.
Common? 2008 to 2024 so every 16 years isn’t often. Don’t buy a German or Korean car they will make you cry doing routine maintenance
Head lights don’t last 16 years brother lol
Dude- you rule! Thanks man 💪🏼😃
Happy to help!
I would have done the same thing , thats a bitch just to get to that point let alone destroy something to get up it
I live there, so this is awesome to see! Thank you 😊
Thanks for watching!
What is the name of the led bulb
Word of Advice: Test bulbs before putting everything back together. I learned the hard way. This video really helped.
Thanks for watching! Absolutely agree you never know what you'll have a faulty one.
Of course you only show the easiest side to do
Thanks for skipping how you removed the 4 bolts.
Good to see you on the Tube brother, Cheers Pete
Thanks man! I definitely haven't posted as much as I want. Can't wait to get out more this summer!
Awesome Brother
Thanks for watching! That trail is awesome!
Great video , thank you
Thank you! Appreciate the kind words, glad I could help.
What's the bulbs size on the dome light?
DE3175 LED
How do you unplug the connector? You skipped right over that!
Thank you for watching! Just pinch on the tab and it pulls right out.
Hi, love the video. I have a 88 4runner, i can’t find out which drums i need to buy, they come up as the 295 or just regular. Any tips?
Thanks for watching! I went to the auto store and purchased the top of the line ones. Not sure if it matters but they asked me if it was a V6 or 4 cylinder. Since mine was a V6 model they sold me these. I recommend matching everything side by side to ensure it looks the same before installing. Take alot of pictures before you disassemble.
@@4WheelingBrianThank you very much, unfortunately rust got to them before i could take pictures and blew them apart haha. I’ll pretty much just be relying on your video from here
What’s the length of these?
Great video! Greetings from Newfoundland Canada. Do you know of a video that shows the lower bushing ? You already had that installed in the video. Thanks
Thank you! I'm not sure of a video on RUclips that shows that part unfortunately.
@@4WheelingBrian No worries! Thanks for the quick reply 👍
Where did you get your bulbs from?
sorry for the late response but I can tell you any auto zone can give you compatible options if you tell them the make, model and year of your vehicle.
I know this video is 4 years old but do you remember where you got those turn signals and how much they were?
Shop Dap, talk to Paul. I think they were around $135.
Does the ladder hit your roof rack when the trunk is open?
Thank you for watching, no it has plenty of room and is holding up very well.
How did you bleed the brakes?
What year t-100 brakes did you used??
95 T100 but any years should work I believe as long as it's the V6. They are bigger calipers, master cylinder and booster
Why do you have 2 reservoirs?
@@christopherjarrett6672clutch master cylinder. It's for a manual transmission.
Hell yeah bro
Bro I just watched and listened while in my art studio, I have pro audio in my art studio. It sounded so good bro!!!! Man! I’m trying to get a 88 with the 3.4. If not I’ll get a 22re. Gotta be an auto in to old to drive stick. Health stuff. Heck yea subbed man!
Thank you so much! More to come, I know I haven't posted in a while but there will be more 4Runner videos soon. Thank you for the kind words.
@@4WheelingBrian yes sir best wishes from ca!
Great video on how to change the headlight bulb/ replacing them with the LED version. Thanks very much.
Absolutely! Glad I could help! Thanks for watching!
This helped me a lot thank you !
Thanks for watching! Glad we could help!
Really dig the lines on the cage in the blue TJ. Makes me want to change how the back of mine is laid out.
Yeah he gets pretty creative with it. Thanks for watching!
Nice, MEAT WAGONS🥳
Do you have to send ORS a harness or could you purchase a made harness already? I’m trying to 3.4 swap my 95 4runner and have my ecu and harness already but need to have it adapted. Trying to see my best options for this and also not spend a crazy amount on the wiring.
Thanks for watching! All I did was call ORS and they asked me a serial number on the orginal harness for the 3.0 and after that they sent me a new harness that wasn't too expensive with OEM plugs for the ECU and it was basically plug and play. Super easy, I was really not looking forward to the wiring part but ORS answered all my questions and had really good quality parts made the swap easy.
I got into contact with them and my harness would be around 655. So far I’m trying to understand if the harness they gave you was attached to your original harness as a type of extension? How’s your harness work for you?
@ernestogarcia8014 the ecu harness is new on mine. Didn't use anything on the old as far as the ecu they asked me a tag number on the engine harness which is the original for the 3.4 and than the ecu and engine harness work together and plug and play basically. If you didn't get the engine harness off the 3.4 you will have to get that from ORS as well. What I purchased was ECU harness and battery harness since mine was toast. Hope this helps.
These are actually the yellow covers...not amber
One very important thing. How you pulled out/inserted engine mount? Because there is very little room for this.
It's a very very tight fit, I had to unplug the o2 sensor and remove that bracket for the connector and still was a tight squeeze. But with some patience and turning the mount the right ways it came out.
@@4WheelingBrian your manual is great. I replaced front and right mount. But I have some problem with rear mount now. Maybe do you have manual how replace it?
@danzemskov I will look into it for sure. Thank you for watching!
I did this a few years ago, have to do it again and needed a refresher. This was a great video thank you. Wish I had it then lol but others got me through enough
Thank you for the kind words! I really needed to get this done on the car it was clunking so bad under acceleration. Not too bad of a job but I do know that a mechanic would have been a ton more money. Thanks for watching!
I have a question that I’ve been thinking about before taking on this project. Toyota over engineers everything. They want things to a last long time. Usually with these dimmer lights, these yellow lights for some reason they last almost the entire life of the vehicle. How long will the LED light last? the LEDS I’ve looked at usually have a year warranty or less.
Thank you for watching! We installed these awhile ago, haven't had any issues so far. Precision LED has a lifetime warranty if one of the lights starts to go or isn't working properly you contact them with your order number and they ask what bulb you need and they send it out to you at no cost.
Why do you skip the disassembly?
Was that a transfer case fluid change or transmission fluid change?
Transmission manual 6 speed
Let’s gooo!!!!!
I'm trying to get back to it! Thanks for watching!
Let’s gooo!!!!!
thank you so much 😭
Glad I could help, thank you for watching!
What about the glove box light?
We never got around to replacing it yet. They do make one though.
Awesome man, been following this build. Im getting closer to this point on my 3.4 swap restomod on my 88 4runner. What did you do for hood clearance ? Trying to avoid bodylift but looking at 3/8 min bl and do a low pro intake plenums. But awesome you got it fired up
Thank you for watching the series! I've got more videos lined up soon been super busy with work lately. I did a 1 inch body lift and it clears I cut x bracing under the hood as well but I think I could have left that and it would have been fine. Having some issues with over heating cause the thermostat isn't opening like it should so video on that soon than exhaust. The rest will be restoring it and making it a offroading capable rig.
Keep it up and keep em coming..all be worth it in the end @@4WheelingBrian
Do you have a part number for the bushing kit? Or is this specific to the jeep and autozone just has it?
Part # is in the description. It's not specific for any vehicle just pick the ones I did out of the box and your good.
@@4WheelingBrian thanks. I missed that lol. Appreciate it.
The map lights are designed to be replaced from the top. The whole console pulls away from the ceiling and the bulbs are replaced from the top, by hand. Mr. Toyota designed it this way.
I feel more comfortable about tackling this repair on my accord tomorrow thanks for the info !
Thanks for watching! Glad I could help.
There’s another option for front dig on a Toyota transfer case and it’s from trail tuff but my friend said he would rather get the trailgear one which I have on my 1st gen 4Runner 4linked front and rear on tons and 43s and I haven’t had any problems with either.
Nice! 1st gens are awesome! I've got one I 3.4 swapped it more turning it into a pre runner. Thanks for the info I'll let my buddy know.
Thank you I’m having the same issue going to try this method
Thanks for watching! Glad I could help!
The passenger side is much harder than the driver side.
Agreed, for some odd reason the slash guard was difficult to get behind for me.
@@4WheelingBrianmy exact issue right now.
Do they have amber or neon yellow for all these led interior bulbs. Not into the bright cold white at night.
I don't think they have those colors however they do have different shades. Such as Ice blue, or cool white or different temperatures. Check out there website.
