Pixie cut is great as mentioned but it needs to be cut every month it costs and takes time.

I take biotin & colligen helps with hair & nails, no hair color & dont blow dry (unless special occasion) i use a lightweight cheesecloth or potato sack to wrap my wet hair & not a heavy wet towel on ly head also. 🤞

Gray hair makes you look like an old lady 90% of the time. Yes it works for some, but very few.

Don't cut hair too short. Pixies make you look older. Don't color your hair. Wear rich tone scarves close to your face. Lay off heavy makeup.

I had my hair dyed until I was in my 60's. One day I was sitting at the dais at my Garden Club meeting, looking over the group while our guest speaker was talking. I noticed how many women had dyed their hair dark brown or even black in order to cover the gray. It didn't make them look younger, in fact, the harshness only aged them. That was the day I decided to go gray, and I never regretted it! I will say that the suggestions in this article are absolutely correct! Regular maintenance is vital. And keep your hairstyle current. Gray is beautiful!

I have fine silver grey hair, which is thinning, I’m 74. I love the colour and have a good cut every 8 weeks. I grew it to a few inches below my chin and have long layers. I scrunch it up as it dries to allow it to wave naturally, which makes my hair appear thicker. My hairdresser had to stop using the purple shampoo because my hair became too absorbent and I was left with a purple tint.

I love my silver grey, but hate my pink scalp and the thinning of my hair since the menopause.😒

That’s what I do. Air dry and mouse plus regular trims.i was blonde now it looks great with the dimensions of grey and dark blonde at the back

I ditched the color about three years ago. It made my hair feel like straw, plus the monotone color was just not right. I stopped using bottle shampoo, and now use the Vunella shampoo bars for gray hair. It doesn’t strip the oils like the bottle shampoo with commercial degreasers. I have my husband wash my hair once a week in the shower and apply leave in conditioner. I have him trim my hair about every 10-12 weeks to remove the splits/damaged ends and keep my ends neat. My hair reaches my elbows, and it feels soft and silky, since I ditched the toxic chemicals. I still have a few inches of color left at the bottom, but I figure that should be all trimmed off in about a year and a half. Not in any rush to have my husband chop off so much of my length.

You haven’t covered what to do when your hair has gone grey and thin. I’ve gone salt’n’pepper grey which isn’t attractive and it’s thinner than it ever was, I feel drab because it just won’t hold a style.

It doesn’t go with my skin tone. Hair is naturally white around hairline and front, then silver then dark in the back. I’m 77. Hair is long. I’m hesitant to start coloring but my hair is truly ugly.

OR drink a pot of ginger root tea every other week. Your natural hair should come back, it did for me. Ginger root tea cleanses your internal organs, restoring functions. Heart arrhythmia's? Ginger root tea. Not processed tea bags.. go get the root and then grate the root, dump grated root into pot, add boiling water.. let it steep to room temperature then remove the physical root roughage, add honey because it's very spicy; live enzymes are key to restoring function and HEALTH.

Most women complain about thinning & dry hair. I have course hair & always had to have it thinned, as I've aged (80) my hair has thinned but not to the point that anyone would notice & it seems to be oiler than before. It was a chestnut brown & the more I was outside it has reddish highlights, now the front is silver & brown mixed with the back of my hair brown. I never had any gray hair until after I turned 50. I'm not upset with my hair, just can't figure out why it gets so greasy in a couple of days. Have started washing it with DAWN DISH SOAP, rinising it & giving it another rinse with white vinegar& then lastly with plain water. I'm just glad to have more hair than a lot of older people.

I have a style that’s suit my fine hair and face,hate that short hair that women adopt, no style just short !

I'm 80 & my hair is oily. Not as thick as when I was 20 or 30 but, It is still thick & always was course. Beauticians tell me I sure am not going to have thin hair. I still have mostly brown hair with some gray in the front. Am quite healthy for my age. Take 2 blood pressure pills daily, which keeps it in check. Am not limited in mobility & do not have any aches or pains. Worked in a factory for 4 years, until Nov 2022. Had to quit as I couldn't stand the diesel fumes for drivers waiting to get loades in the morning, I worked the 3rd shift.

Either talk or play music. The music is annoying!
