Regardless of gender they like many other talented "unheard" bands never found that universal hit. And the name Fanny, IDK.

A great group during a time of the male dominanted band rock scene. Great musicians, songwriters and performers. A tragedy they are overlooked and all but forgotten.

I'm 65 and discovered these girls only a few months ago! They were excellent in every way, but girl bands were not up to date in the early '70s. The ladies deserved more attention 👏🎶🇫🇷

This really is an incredible band. Seems a few things just didn’t go their way and they had poor management. They NEVER should have played this song on TV. They have some insane faster songs that scared the boy bands. That’s what they needed to play. They would have knocked the snot out of the crowd. Instead they just played what everyone expected of them.

Wow, the more I watch them the more impressed I am. Great slide work, great vocals, great rhythm section....Yuppers.

Rhyming "love" with "love"? Genius! Seriously though, I'm enjoying seeing Fanny and asking all the people I know who were alive then if they had heard of them. Few have, unfortunately, but that may be that they were just a few years ahead of their time, and too much (all female, not white) for some to accept.

Wonderful.... I am 72 and I remember Fanny. I really like reflecting on this. This is so good. Fanny never got the recognition they deserved. All girls bands were just starting to be excepted. Thank you... I always remember June and Jean because my name is Gene and my Bday is in June...lol
