This was our last day in Chiang Mai before leaving for Koh Samui. We had another fantastic day tour with Rangsan Yaisawan (Joe) where we saw traditional umbrellas being made in his home village of Bo Sang Muban. Joe then took us to a local temple, Wat Phranon. Did you book Rangsan when in the UK if so did you pay him a deposit?
Hi, my wife booked him through Facebook from home in the UK. We agreed prices (he had set fees for set tour itineraries). And we paid him on the day of each trip. No deposits paid. It was all done on good faith.
