FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S Reaction!!!
Always watch MMT even if it’s the replay. My favourite movie channel.
This guy always hypes me up
watching the replay
She definitely reminds me of the style of ‘Pink’ style Singer. She does a great job
I think around the time Saw was released I noticed that a lot of these films are DARK.... demented. The fact that audiences enjoy this stuff is weird imo. I also noticed within the last 10-15 years the moviegoers started laughing at uncomfortable moments because people don't know how to sit in an emotion... So there is this paradox where society is getting more and more disconnected from its humanity and is searching for more and more extreme ways to FEEL things... like terror. It is all weird and honestly embarrassing as a culture. I call it socially acceptable canabalisim where humans consume one another and humanity for sake of entertainment. Society is becoming the snake that eats itself and doesn't realize it before it is too late.
Joker 2 failed because demand for a sequel was low (especially for this sort of sequel. Was Joaquin Phoenix even playing the titular character? Apparently, not.), and word-of-mouth was out by the time the movie was released. It had much bigger issues than Lady Gaga being in the movie.
Telling the truth
I get that putting these films for $20 in a number of weeks on digital hurts theatrical, it’s not like they’re going straight to the streamer, you still have to pay $20-40 a lot of times to watch it, that’s a very unattractive model to people who want to throw that much money down at home. The streamers don’t even put it on their services for 2-3 months at least so how does that entice people to not go to the theatres as much. I certainly won’t waste $20 to watch it.
As soon as it on video on demand it is on piracy sites
What's intelligent about a "trans-orc," nevermind the response to it? Part of the problem is their sacrifice of storytelling in service to bizarre political messaging. People don't like being preached to. Surely you get that.
Current state of economy is not helping when comparing current batch of small indies to the ones that came out back then. When people have trouble putting food on the table, entertainment spending will have to take a backseat. Longlegs was packed when I went to see it on 2nd or 3rd week after release though, nearly a full house.
Everyone should go support we live in time
Chris gore
I can not stand him and his people
Isn't Terrifier 3 a very small film succeeding? I think it points to more indie product in cinemas. Not woke or preachy, just entertaining.
Yes BUT it’s a horror film, X-rated at that, unicorn indie
@@MidnightMovieTalk Yeah point taken, but I think most of the truly successful indie films were horror, starting with Halloween, then Nightmare on Elm St., Blair Witch, Paranormal Activity, etc.
Erick was on point again with his $18,5 million forecast for T3. 👌🏻😎👍🏻
i felt like the trailer was made by a tiktok brained director. how i knew it was shit from the trailer and you confirming it just sort of gives me some level of comfort in my judgement abilities
On the other hand, an unrated film depicting explicit sex between consenting adults would never be shown at an AMC or Cinemark. Blue is the Warmest Color was a box office flop and probably would have been even if AMC and Cinemark picked it up. Hell, men are scolded for simply admitting they’re attracted to beautiful women and boobs! I hate to draw a line, but is there a limit on the violence and butchering which should be depicted? Is Art the Clown going to start chopping up babies next and we’ll all just chalk it up to “artistic expression”?
Fake violence, blood, and gore can still manage carry a certain childlike innocence about it. I bet that child in _Terrifier 3_ was prepared to execute that scene with tons of fun. Simulating sex (or not), however, will always be awkward AF and clinical AF, in order for the actors and closed-set minimal crew to get through with enough footage to work with. Fake violence will always be fake, to the ends of the mind. Fake sex will always get you awfully close to the real thing.
I love , love , love Terrifier 1,2 and 3
8:10 cinematography was the only great thing it has going for it.
7:53 yes it is a musical and fails on that aspect. I don’t remember any of the songs, knowing they were covers from This movie.
There's one positive with Joker 2. Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga will be humbled.
The Wild Robot budget was actually pretty low. Only 78 mil
Celebrate the success of a determined director with a vision and an audience that yearns to see and support original cinema instead of the slop fast food movies offered today. However, the content of the film is not going to have staying power. I guarantee it will be stamped out. We're already seeing the director watering it down just enough so the tiny hat men dont drive him out of town completely
When are you going to see the Apprentice
Erick, remember when HBO waited a YEAR to put on the popular movies? I think 4 to 6 month windows will create anticipation for the movie to debut on streaming platforms. Also, that was a great game. Oregon eeked out a win.
I don't know. Siskel and Ebert missed the mark on so many horror films. I mean Ebert praised trite like Stella and Siskel even gave The Silence of the Lambs a thumbs down. I think history has proven that stuff like Friday the 13th has staying power, and I think Art the Clown is going to have more staying power than Phoenix's Joker. Also, the Italian gialli of the 70s still went much farther with the sex and violence than Terrifier. The boxoffice will tell the tale.
Those film makers hate humans? Who enjoys watching human getting tortured? It sadden me, in my opinion.
Wow! They went there...
Lauren Lavera is married, too
I saw one women who took her son, who had to have been no older than 16 to see Terrifier 3. I was pretty surprised by that.
Who determines which lines you should cross? I'm glad you aren't involved in public policy... last thing the world needs are moral puritans.
It's really sinister how many people (especially men) get a sick thrill over these kinds of movies where innocent people are tortured extensively and killed. It takes it way too far where I become too aware of what problems the director must have thinking his hard drive should be checked. I'm opposite of prude too, I've always enjoyed gross horror like Saw and slashers but I never take enjoyment out of the deaths being drawn out and horrible. I will side eye any man who enjoys these kinds of movies in a joyful way, proof being I've known a few and they are for sure not people I trust or care to be around. I can't even describe this sort of fandom but it's sick in a really dark sort of way, lacking humanity.
All of this exactly
I don't like horror movies, but for my money the best is John Carpenter's The Thing.
8:09 whoever is financing Damien's films is working in tandem with the controllers to desensitize the movie going public so they arent affected by gore and sexual violence. the crossing of the lines is to further blur what is within the cope of whats acceptable for our humans in a decent society and whats not. Look up Weimar Germany and you'll understand exactly why they keep pushing the boundaries further and further. its why we hear in a post-Janet jackson nipple world why sexual promiscuity and sexualization of children is just "the new normal" That was the crossing of the threshold so people could just tell themselves that its "okay" now
Erick you truly hilarious. Your trashing of Fennesy is an all timer
No interest in stuff like this. I dint even understand why people like this stuff
I auditioned for the Cop role who gets slaughterd and My boy plays the body builder monster.
Regarding "Lines Crossed": My local AMCs were nearly sold out. Folks thought Last Tango in Paris and The Exorcist, and even the Saw franchise crossed the line, but this...this is nearly watching the super grotesque and senseless in real time. It's cheap and unintelligible movie making. The antithesis of a good horror movie. And you brought up Xtro, which is a Sci fi horror that had a point. I feel you about the demonic direction of these Terrifier X rated schlocks.
Theaters really can't afford to take a moral stance for the sake of PR. They're like expensive drive-ins now. If it sells, screen it.
Idiocracy
Terrifier 3 is the most optimistic and hopeful movie with a clown in it to come out this month
Youre talking about an industry who has been watching this kind of savagery filmed and documented against children everyday for a year now in g@za and you have people like robert myer burnett going on his stream saying they deserve it and what else are we supposed to do there. You have the most famous female stars like scarlett Johansson and gal Gadot endorsing it. this movie is no where close to the nastiest most vile demonic sht coming out of the movie industry right now
you didn't like the scene where the villain is mean? That's Entertainment.... not that I'm going to see this but i can understand the laughter
Thank u for the shout out Errick. I appreciate the encouragement. Go mmt and all the fans. Good community. 🎉
🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
I have no interest in these kind of movies, splatter, torture porn, for me is unpleasant film experience and also just boring. I don't even get, why so many people enjoy this shit. I like some horror movies of the 90s and before, but at some point this genre has just crossed a line and it's just about violence and being shocking, I don't want to be a part of it. That's not to say that there are no good horror movies today though, I like Jordan Peele or I also liked Talk To Me for example, but also a lot of inhumane trash...
I know a lot of people watched it when it was some schlock crap to laugh at on Netflix. Now it's for edgelord creepy guys who are so desensitized to human suffering that they have to watch the most extreme stuff "for fun" and take pleasure from the most grotesque things playing out on screen. The older I get, the less patience I have because I see how this stuff contributes to harmful cynicism and normalization of brutal violence as entertainment to be consumed.
I've never watched a Terrifier movie. Have I missed out on Cinema? 😁😁
Yes, absolutely. You need to see these movies! :D
Great stream tonight Eric! When are you seeing Smile 2?
This coming Tuesday night 🙌
I love the Avatars movies 🤣❤️ To each their own… but I do respect your opinion
Sir you no taste it was great I'm looking forward to the next chapter or you are part of this generation who can't tell a good movie from the crap that socks like so many coming now
