Why does the title say JK, but you do the install on a JL?

I love these shelves. You can put your fridge on a slide and your gear below, and place your tent, sleep gear and other soft articles up top. They're tied down and won't take your head off in an accident like if they were just stacked.

It looks like the tailgate is pretty close to the rear crossbar , can the tailgate be fully opened if there is a tent there?

I like how spartan this is. Been eyeing the Armadillo for a while now, but I've also been witnessing how these kind of trailers have gone from around $13K to now nearly $30K... hard to believe inflation has been killing us this much over the last few years, but I do like the fact these are made here in the US.

When the hardtop is on, the brackets sit on the bottom of hardtop where it attached to the Jeep body. What's the risk of damaging the hardtop due to the weight resting on it? Note: on my JK, the locations on the hardtop where the bolts go through it and attach to the Jeep are thicker than the rest of the bottom of the hardtop, this would appear to cause uneven weight distribution on the hardtop and put more stress where the bolts go through the hardtop. With the hardtop off the shelf lays flat on the Jeep body, enabling uniform weight distribution.

Tittle reads as cargo space for JK but that's a JL anyways, Nice shelf but I wonder if it that's make some noises once you are driving on the freeway!

Dude, this didn't double the cargo space. You just added a shelf. A shelf will just get in the way. What I need to pack is a military shovel, wood planks, a tow rope, a cooler, some beach chairs, and an air compressor.

I just installed mine and it barely lined up with the inner two screw holes shown at 4:25, not sure why but I could only screw in the right side, and it wasn’t perfect as shown here. I followed the instructions like in this video and still didn’t work like in this video.
