As good as anyone may ever think I am, I'm very well aware that there's always someone out there who's better than me. So, thank you sincerely for your kind words. I appreciate it immensely. However, when you talk drop tunings, I have to stop you right there! lol. Drop tunings are f'n awesome and not at all cheating! It's what you do with the tuning you use. I LOVE, and use Drop D most of the time with my band and when I write songs. I use E to do blues and hard rock type stuff. But mainly I use Drop D. So I'm totally with you on drop tunings.
