Hear My Train A Comin’ - Jimi Hendrix style Jam in E standard
I’ve never put a straight up jam up on RUclips before I usually wrote something or do a cover solo. But the other night, I wanted to just jam on some blues, so I remember hearing’ a Hendrix recording of him jamming to Hear My Train A Comin’.
While listening to it, I thought about how great it was, and I said to myself, I’d love to do a jam over that. So, living on the future like we do, I found the backing track on line and I do my own Auggie Myles style jam to it, and decided to record it.
Now it’s a late night Saturday, and I feel like putting some groove out. So here ya go, I hope you all like it. Feel free to tell my what you think in the comments!
Thanks all for giving a listen, I ho...

Pink Floyd - Money (solo)

I had no idea @davidgilmour from the one and only @pinkfloyd was in town this week at @thegarden so this was just kinda serendipitous. But I learned this solo last week and thought it would be a great time to put it up. David, you’re awesome and I love your playing. You’re always a perfectionist and there’s no one better at what you do. Thank you for all the great tunes! If you all like what yo...

This is one of those songs where the first time I heard it, I knew I had to learn it. Especially, the solo at the end. It’s just so happy! @phish are such a great band. @treyanastasio and the guys really know how to write an upbeat, and greatly rhythmic song. It’s just so good! Hope you enjoy. @paynepirando409 thank you!
@@auggie_myles You’re welcome!
Preach
I like it
Nice job, luckily the clerk from Wayne’s World wasn’t around to deny you
Lol. Thanks man, I was stoked when I got this one down.
@@auggie_myles i’ll bet you were
My typos are still epic. Lmao
Good stuff, glad to see you still playing
Hey! Thanks dude, good to hear from ya. I appreciate the compliment. If anything, subscribe to the channel, I put up a video a week. Every Thursday. I hope all is well, feel free to email me too. All good dude. 🤘
Nice. this is the song where Andrew Lloyd Weber nicked the Phantom of the Opera riff. I’ve noticed an improvement in your vibrato as you’ve posted all these vids, that high note halfway through was awesome. Keep it up
Thank you man, I appreciate it, it means alot to hear. 👍
@@auggie_myles learning other people’s stuff forces you to up your game without even realizing it
@@stevecaststringtheory8691 I agree. My partner even noticed a difference in my playing, she even told me so. Lol.
That walk up riff is fun to play isn’t it?
Oh that run?, absolutely yeah. Love it. I was wondering to keep it simple or embellish on it, but I was like eh, too many notes may ruin it, so I kept it simple and just moving along haha.
HELL YEAH!!!
You rule! Thanks so much bro! 🤘
Auggie Ray Vaughan
I’ll gladly take that, thank you sènor! 🤘
Nice job, the major pentatonic part sounded cool, and of course sick dance moves
I’m a dancing machine, watch me get down!
Love the tobacco burst on that LP, I had a feeling you were just going to dance and not play lmao
Well I danced for the first two measures. I played the rest! Lol.
Haha you’re having a blast on this one
I was yeah, haha. Thank you for noticing. I was in the funk mood and I got into it. Thank again dude. 🤘
That came cool. Now do dominic the donkey
Thank you!
I’ll see about Dominic. Don’t know if I have enough time to make it happen by Christmas Eve. But lemme see.
Very nice, you put a cool spin on it. Merry Christmas!
Thank you! I appreciate that. It was a lot of fun! I’m super happy I did it. 👍
Awesome!
Thank you so much Richard!!! I appreciate that.
Great job! Comfortably Numb gets all the accolades but Time is Gilmour’s best solo
Far and away your best vid yet, nice job
Thank you good sir! I appreciate that. When I get your compliment, I know I did something right, haha, but righteous, 👍
Now that’s what I call some blues! 🔥 Great job on this one, the chord was def struck 😀
Thank you so much! I appreciate that, I’m glad you like what you hear, and thank you for subscribing! You rock, 👍
Love the sound on this groove! Great job bro
Hey dude, thank you very much for the nice compliment, I appreciate it. I’m glad you like the video. 👍
@@auggie_myles thanks for taking the time to respond! I wish I was even half as good a guitarist as you lol I cheat by playing in drop tuning 😂 keep up the good work man
@@beatznatwor Firstly, thank you immensly for the compliments. I truly appreciate them. As good as anyone may ever think I am, I'm very well aware that there's always someone out there who's better than me. So, thank you sincerely for your kind words. I appreciate it immensely. However, when you talk drop tunings, I have to stop you right there! lol. Drop tunings are f'n awesome and not at all cheating! It's what you do with the tuning you use. I LOVE, and use Drop D most of the time with my band and when I write songs. I use E to do blues and hard rock type stuff. But mainly I use Drop D. So I'm totally with you on drop tunings. If by chance you'd like to hear other stuff I do, feel free to check out our youtube @backfromzero or instagram at @back_from_zero. We have a new EP coming out in the nest few months. It's in the mixing process right now. Feel free to tell me what you think if you decide to take a listen. And thank you again, you rock. 👍
Nice this is a fun one, cool bends, and love the semi DeNiro face shimmy at the end. Send me the track
It’s funny, I didn’t realize I did the NiDero until I watched it back. I love doing the DiNero though. I guess it just come naturally lol. 😂
Next time turn on your amp! 💡
It was, normally I use the pro tools track on the video, but I accidentally erased the pro tools recording of it, so I had to use the video audio. Next time…👍
Aye! We got the same warp up routine!🤟🔥🌲🔥🤟
That’s awesome. Yeah, a nice slow blues to get the fingers moving is always a good way to warm up if you ask me.
Good sound dude 👌
Thanks a lot dude! I appreciate it!
Very nice, probably the best of the three so far. Got occasional Isley Brothers vibes. What’s the Mothman?
Thank you! I liked it too, the camera was out of focus but the take came out ok, so I said why not? And, kept it. Glad you liked it. I’m gonna post more too, 👍 As for Your question, here’s a quick synapses, here ya go… In West Virginia folklore, the Mothman is a humanoid creature reportedly seen in the Point Pleasant area from November 15, 1966, to December 15, 1967. The first newspaper report was published in the Point Pleasant Register, dated November 16, 1966, titled "Couples See Man-Sized Bird ... Creature ... Something".[1] The national press soon picked up the reports and helped spread the story across the United States. 🤘
Awesome video I grew up across the river in Gallipolis ohio Mothman 4 ever lol
Great tone as always, cool interplay between major and minor pentatonic - got Mike McCready vibes on the lower end
Great job sir, tone sounds great and those bends are nasty!
Thank you, I just complimented you on your fast notes and flow myself lol. Good stuff on yours too dude.
Love you, love your vid, love the NY I grew up in and will continue to cherish the memories, but today’s NY can go scratch
I just saw this now, lol. I still love NY too, always will. But every now and then, it gets under my skin. Haha.
✨ 𝕡𝐫o𝕄o𝔰𝓶
Nice!
Thank you so much!
@@auggie_myles You’re welcome!👍🏻 Keep posting more videos!👍🏻
Love that tone, and jeepers crow your guitar collection is looking nice!
Haha, thank you. Yeah, I’m finally getting the whole video thing down and I figured I’d put the nice shot in there. Haha.
@@auggie_myles Austin back in the day: I wanna be known as a Tele guy Austin today: Slash, hold my beer
@@stevecaststringtheory8691 lmao, I know right? Haha. Woodys still in the mix though. I still play him, hell yeah, 🤘
Back off Jack Back From Zero’s back with music
Guy bursts back onto the scene with an EP in one hand and the LONG awaited Severed video in the other. Just like the mailman, he delivers
You’re awesome, brother! 🤘
Good thing Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Robert Johnson, John Coltrane, Jimi Hendrix, and Eddie Van Halen didn’t think less was more, otherwise we’d never have gotten the privilege of their innovations. Less can be more if you do it in an innovative way like Miles Davis economical playing in contrast to John Coltrane’s sheets of sound - their styles complimented each other by providing variety. And a guy like David Gilmour does an amazing amount without a lot of notes, but if everyone sounded like Gilmour it would sound hackneyed and less would be less.
I like cake
I’m just glad you liked me enough to subscribe to my channel. Thank you, dude! 🤘
A man who truly stands put from the pack….but blends into the couch. Happy Thanksgiving Brohawk, looking forward to more content!
