I watched your vlog about Navy Fed's car loan. Very informative. Where are you staying in PI?

Last year when we were in Negroes Oriental we were auto shopping and because we were in a hurry to have a vehicle and unsure of how to manage a local loan we instead bought a cheaper Suzuki minivan which we were able to put on our credit card. I never considered a NFCU or any other US bank car loan for a car purchase in the Philippines. We do like the minivan but when we are ready to upgrade we will have to try the NFCU or US auto loan.

Hi, I would make sure to keep the copies that you paid for that ticket also if there's any certification that's given to you and I would ask what kinda reports they send out to DMV here in California if any. Just because if they report that to the California DMV ah, you might have a suspension in your driver license and you will never know until you get back here and get pulled over. Also, to clear any offense in your driving record you will have to be sure to clear with (at least here) you have to clear it with the state the offense took place and they (that state where it took place) will have to send a message out to CA DMV that that offense was cleared. I don't know how that will work since the offense took place in another country and if they report that to DMV necessarily. Just wanted to give you something to think about. Sorry, just ran across your video when you got pulled over and looked for the second part and decided to comment. I wish you and your family the best in your journey.

Make sure you understand loans in the PI. There is no early payoff or paying ahead. The banks get the full interest amount even if you paid off a week later. Very different then the US

Instead of Remitly try Zoom to send money from your Us account to yourself in Philippines. Fees are much cheaper than remitly.
