Interesting theory
1:30 Yeah, the translation was bad. It more that he questioned if Hunter and Maverick are more similar than he thought, but ultimately Sigma comes first as a priority. It makes sense that after X4, he has a doubt about the nature of Hunters and Maverick, especially since he discovered that he was originally a Maverick. 1:44 Then you missed why Zero became the way that he is. Sure, Zero's character did get flanderized after X6, possibly due to the influnce of his character in Zero series there, but all the way to X6, he retained the confident and encouraging side that he has since X1. It made sense why X4 he becomes increasingly misguided and confused because not only does that game properly established his more merciless and laser-focus approach toward Mavericks in constrast with X's naive and pacifist approach, but also his friend, Colonel, and the Repliforce as a whole rebelled against the Hunters and humans, effectively rendered them Maverick. X4 whole ordeal tests and questions Zero's merciless and uncomprimise nature, culminated tragically with Colonel and Iris's deaths and the reveal that he was a former Maverick all along. The tragic aftermath did left him more close off and less chill overall, but not completely as he was still rather focus on saving the world and courage X to fight.
Not only would fighting two bosses in the boss rush make things better, it would actually justify the tag team mechanic being included.
Oh yeah the tag team seemed almost unfair against one boss.
I want this person to remake X7 maybe then the people would consider it 😅 also have X playable from the start 🤷♂️
Red is there, so maybe that was a hint?
Dev said they don't have plans to demake x7.. they demake'd x8 because they loved x8.. they didn't like x7 as much.
Another thing the demake should get credit for is revamping X's boss weapons. I did playthrough of X1-6 and X8 recently, where I tried to primarily use the special weapons, and OG X8 ended up being the worst experience for that. It's like they made Axl's weapons first and then ran out of good ideas by the time it was X's turn. X1 and X5 ended up with the best weapons IMO.
I can't believe i didn't mention that, those weapons were amazing.
Why
It is indeed underrated! I just finished it the second time after picking it up 2 weeks ago. Phenomenal stuff. I watched the very long lore video before my 2nd playthrough and somehow this game also offers the best worldbuilding I have ever seen in a metroidvania.
Yeah I really hope it gets a sequel I believe I got all the endings but I still think they have plenty to work with in another game.
Fortnite audition X
Can't unsee that
I'm sure you'll be back
This has that X Dive ad energy.

Cain in x2 explains that they managed to recover Zero's brain from the X1 sigma fortress. Even if the body is fake, it's megaman Zero 3 all over again: What matters is the heart
I'm actually kind of on board with this. Been thinking similar things lately. Though I also kind of am of the mindset that Zero did kill the original Mega Man. I also don't know if I like the idea of MMZ being the original Zero or another copy more or not.
Killing Mega Man was not in Zero’s profile because Zero was only a prototype when he did that. His mind was fresh and new, but it couldn’t process the memory in time because he deactivated upon ProtoMan sacrificing his life to stop him.
I can totally see where you're coming from and the Zero series actually does this exact thing, but it's still Zero's consciousness inside of a replicate body.
This is an interesting head canning but there's a few big holes like in X2 the X-hunters simply made Zero's parts they couldn't actually do anything to zero without his control chip which doctor cain had and for the personality thing he had the confident personality up until X4 when he had to retire Iris and for X knowing alot about Omega him and Zero fought in the elf wars together but couldn't beat Omega cause the dark elf and that's why he was sealed
A lot of upspoken lore happened in X2 and they simply got away with not telling it. I actually learned a couple of things about X2 from X Dive. Although I could see the Zero and X team up against Omega still working which would explain why Zero was missing parts when Ceil found him.
The X series in general has weird lore stuff that either doesn't get mentioned at all or just disappears like the ending of X3 with Zero has an anti sigma program or whatever in his saber but is NEVER mentioned out of X3 as far as I'm aware then again it could just be weird English only stuff
x says to wiel before zero destroy omega "like century ago" doesn't that mean x and zero fought together against omega that mean he was alive in the elf wars and fought with his copy body along side with x
I did actually forget about that line, X was very cryptic throughout the Zero series.
Very intriguing theory! It explains how Zero was so chill in his own series and matches his X1 self. And that Awakened Zero cutscene dialogue from X now makes more sense in terms of context!
Anything's possible especially with all the new stuff we are finding out about the series decades later.
That…..honestly this is a very good theory you have here. I would love to see a theory of Zero.EXE
Well....my extent of knowledge for the battle network series goes as far as casual watching of the 4kids series, which I saw Zero.exe did show up eventually.
If Capcom won't tell give us the lore then us fans have to pick up the slack
Thanks fellow megaman enjoyer.
Fun little video. it showed up in my feed. Keep up the fun works.
Thanks, I'm glad you checked it out!
I believe Lex luthor's quote is correct, But Superman isn't all powerful. He still has to struggle for some of the things he wants in life.
Based
Anyone who says if Superman was real he'd be Homelander is just an edgelord and shouldn't be taken seriously. If Superman was real he'd be like Tyler Hoechlin's version. Just a goodhearted person who just so happens to be the most powerful being on the planet. That's literally what Superman is. Superman isn't a hero because he has powers he's a hero because he has the biggest heart. He cares more than others that's what makes him heroic. He's willing to help others no matter how big or small. It's baffling how edgelords think if Superman was real he would be like Homelander. It's just plain goofy in my opinion.
It drove me nuts that Snyder turned Superman into Space Hitler over Lois Lane's death in the DCEU. Its just so dumb and one of the worst portrayals of Superman I've ever seen.
Homelander wasn’t corrupted by his power he was corrupted by his childhood.
homelander is superman from dceu
What people get wrong with homelander is that he isn’t “WhAt If SuPeRmAn WaS rEaL!!!!!🤓” he’s what if superman was raised by a morally bankrupt mega corporation instead of two loving parents if homelander was raised by the Kents he’d might actually end up being a pretty great guy just like superman
Yep learning the difference between right and wrong makes a big difference.
I'd say that Homelander is Superman if he was in the real world because no person in the current capitalistic society would let some random people have anything that fell from space. It's not Homelander's power that corrupted him but how he was raised. He was brought up in a single room and that is bound to do damage to a child with barely any human interaction and you can guarantee that if Superman fell to earth right now that the government and the corporations would be rushing to experiment on him and make money of him asap.
Yeah but the whole point of Superman is his humble origins, if you want the complete opposite just look how Doomsday was created, he was like the original Homelander.
I would say first what corrupts is chiefly the pursuit and the attempt of maintaining power, not power itself. Later, if you are already too powerful, you are capable of indulging in your temptations, and doing so indeed makes you ever worse; but you could also fight for restraint, which would build your virtue. It doesn't seem power itself is directly responsible for corruption, only the passion for it and its mishandling. Homelander himself, at least at the series (I've never read the comics), is what he is much because of his terrible and uncommon upbringing. It's not just his power. Then, I suppose when he had the opportunity to channel on other people his frustrations, broken feelings, and the wicked desires he formed, commiting evils here and there, he continually poisoned himself untill becoming the monster he is.
That's what's so admirable about Superman I can't think of a time he did something selfish with his powers. He only uses them to help others, so him being evil just doesn't fit his character.
@@stossplottwist Yes, I agree. I could easily see myself (and many, if not most people) using his powers for good, but I would certainly try to apply them for personal benefit as well. And that little caveat is where the danger lies, the little things you indulge in until they become bigger and you lose control.
It is realistic; that's why it's depressive. There's no case on Earth that proves that power doesn't corrupt. And it's even worse if you believe that power wouldn't corrupt you. Believing that would make you even more corruptible, and you wouldn't even realize when it does. You either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain. The difference between you and me it's just one bad day.
ruclips.net/video/9ZjLxk0djyE/видео.htmlsi=MTi4YaU5eZCDWql6
The phrase "You either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain" doesn't seem very deep. I mean, once you are considered a hero, the only ways you lose the title are if they "notice" you were never really one at the first place, or you become a "clown", or you become a "villain". Otherwise, you'll keep being a hero (and, if you die, you'll die one). Now, the phrase ignored (probably for simplicity and to sound better) the fraud and the clown alternatives, so there's no more possibility from the start: you either are still a hero when you die, or you aren't; and if you aren't, then you are a villain. But if all this reasoning is true, the sentence doesn't say much about the corruptive nature of power, right?
Being the good guy is never easy, you'll be tested on your convictions, and those bad days always come but heroes always endure.
@@stossplottwist you've lived a very sheltered life if you believe that; don't get me wrong, we all want what you want and think, but that's just not real; yes, I agree that our role models should show that, but you should also contemplate the possibility of your dark side, what would it take to win?
Why does everyone go to the sheltered retort? There is opposition of 2 sides in life good and bad. If your raised right like superman was you, can be that good because you understand that power you have. Too many people focus on the evil and bad because it's thrown in our faces everyday from many media sources. If there was a Superman I believe he would be that good. @2impgaming
Garth Ennis is an asshole. The Boys is his magnum dopus.
lol
Good video, but your voice reminds me of that dude who taste tests military ration packs ...😅

Everyone can be corrupted by power. Nobody is immune. There are no “good” people and “bad” people, only people who make good and bad choices.

Power is not only described as bad, Good has power just not recognized in the same way.

0:48 Spiderman has not as much power. Imagine someone could from young age do anything he wants without fearing any consequences. No one could punish Superman for stealing something. People would be afraid of Superman at all times and no one would want to make him angry. It is no wonder dictators are often self centered and insane. The people around them only tell them how good their ideas are. The personality of someone plays a big role here. But most people are probably more like Homelander, when they had to much power and everyone would be afraid of them at all times.
But there are great differences between a dictator and Superman: the former had to cherish power to a very large degree, pursue it (he probably couldn't let morals get in his way at the process, otherwise he would never be capable of arriving at the place he did), had to be okay with widely reducing other people's personal liberties for his own agenda, and need to be weary of all the people who would take him out at the faintest sign of weakness; Superman's powers weren't chosen by him, he is not necessarily someone whose life orbitates being more and more capable of controlling others, his goodness isn't as likely to be seen as weakness and bite him back. Many of these disparities would be lessened if we considered power by heritage, but these people will usually be brought by others who either had to pursue power by themselves (with evey problem it suggests) or were brought by people who did, or by people who were brought by people who were broght by people who did, etc. I can see qualitative reasons for a real life Superman to be good, bad or a very mixed bag, every one of those is at least somewhat plausible; yet we would need informed quantitative reasoning in order to define what's more likely, and by how much.
Superman also grew into his powers, and his upbringing was a major part of his character development.
2:40 that's literally what race activists do in America the whole country is racist so you're screwed
People's saying absolute power corrupts absolutely are just making excuses for their own insecurities, when you're literally invincible, you don't need to be trapped by the small scale pettiness, you can leave it behind and be the better person consequence free, let the power drive you further into goodness
Agreed, something about great power and responsibility, I don't know some old guy said it
@@stossplottwistSounds like a smart chap, whoever said it.
"Power doesn't corrupt, it reveals".
0:55 it does make sense though. The real superpowered beings wouldn’t be good people. I mean why be good when literally nothing on Earth can stop you? Kryptonite doesn’t exist so there’s nothing to put superpowered beings under control
Bruh homelander was born in a lab raised to be a spoiled brat Superman was born on an alien planet and raised on earth to be a good person with good values Just because you have godlike powers doesn't mean you can't be good that's just stupid
that kind of thinking is exactly what is wrong with a world if you and everyone else believe that real superpower people would not be good people then there would not be world is what we make it you always have a choice
@@FriendlyGhost-rf7tq oh really. Russia and Israel are superpowers away from becoming Viltrumites. Literally everybody are superpowers away from becoming Homelander
@@partylrd8699 so? Jeffrey Dahmer wasn’t born in a lab. All humans are evil, they don’t need to be lab experiments
@@partylrd8699so? All humans aren’t born in labs but they become evil
Brightburn would be more likely
Homelander is an angel compared to brightburn. Brightburn is not only as powerful as superman, he is inherently completely evil,
Brightburn was chill up until he got sleeper agent activated. If he didn't have thst influence he might have been ok
ah yes add Brightburn to the evil superhero trope pile
@@stossplottwist Sadly we will never see a 2nd brightburn.

Ms Mowz has a 2% chance to steal a random badge from the enemy's badge pool. Along with this, a .5% chance for the enemy to have one, a 16% chance to steal an item, and an 82% chance for a coin. Therefore, she is the best partner. No doubt. (kinda joking)
2% chance! How can I lose?
I loved this game back in the day, I don't know how many times I played it. Playing the remake it was nice and at the same time, I felt the curse, wish I could forget it to play it again
I remember it was my second playthrough I decided to find out what was at bottom of the pit of 100 trials. I regretted my overconfidence, and questioned what I knew about the game.
The Galaxy is at peace.... you know. No words spoken. 💔
It's nice seeing a Destiny video that isn't another gun review.
Love your thoughts on Super Metroid. I've only played through it once and didn't remember many of the details you mentioned. Fusion was my first Metroid game, and it's still probably my favorite in the series - or at the very least the one I've replayed the most. The sheer dread that game instilled in me as a kid with it's environments was crazy. Going through Sector 5 and seeing the destruction left behind by the Nightmare, and then having its shadow fly across in the background?? 8 year old me would always beg me brother to play that section for me. Same with the first few SA-X sections, where the music cuts out and all you can hear are SA-X's slow footsteps echoing back and forth. And can't forget to mention how Sector 1 looks incredibly similar to SR388, hinting at the fact that there was a metroid breeding program on the station.
That reminds me of the wrecked ship in Super Metroid, that place scared me and my brother so much we couldn't finish it for a week.
Man, those SA-X interactions were super creepy and added so much dread to running around that station 😂
Huh. Deadpools jokes really were obvious and even though I laughed at them I couldn’t quote a single one
O-o
Yeah they nerfed Peter and the symbiote.
