I don't understand WHAT people don't get? STOP Manufacturing certain Plastics and that would be LESS pollution. WHY must we suffer our Governments TAKING other things away from us, yet, something like Plastic INCREASES and we all know it isn't going to get better!!

10:19 Look, here's the problem. They don't care if the plastic goes to the ocean cuz it's not harming them directly. But, we can't even blame them. They are already living in tough conditions, without any reliable amenities. Here, the government fails to provide access to at least waste collection service.

A great way for people to reduce their environmental footprint besides trying to avoid plastic (quite difficult often) is to eat a plan-based diet and adopt a vegan lifestyle. Check out the Oxford University study by Poore and Nemecek for some solid, peer reviewed science!

Do they not have a garbage pick up system that they can avail themselves of so that they do not have to litter the streets and rivers, etc? It would give some a job and perhaps make things more livable and perhaps save the environment at the same time. Maybe. Please try! I implore you! Amen!

The video is concise and very insightful, explaining the situation of plastic pollution in our world, it's great that it gives some hope for the future as there are still lots of peeply who care deeply for the environment and for others. But as I watch modern documentaries on ecology, my heart breaks… I can only imagine how painful it is for God to see all of this… All living things that he created with great love are suffering… People forgot about the responsibility we all bear, corporations blatantly ignore the cries of millions of humans and other living creatures on the face of the Earth. But I know one thing - God will not endure it without end, he will stop those who destroy the earth (Revelation 11:18), - and the further we go, the more we can see that there is actually no other way around this crucial issue, as humanity in general, lacks free will to do what’s good, to sacrifice for the sake of the future, - and the Creator will renew justice by restoring Paradise conditions, as it was in the very beginning (Psalm 37:2, Matthew 5:5). And as I see how events unfold in accordance with the Bible prophecies, my belief that a better world is getting closer and pretty soon things will change for much better on an unimaginable scale is getting stronger: www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&issue=2021-05&pub=wp21&srcid=share.

I even take trash bags with me and pick up trash to put in the dumpster. I try to recycle the bag I use and I just dump the trash out and reuse the bag 😊❤ we love mother earth 💟🌍

There is one solution that can help a little.... not solve the problem but help a little and create a movement of education. Pay the poor to collect the plastic... then the plastic waste becomes of value, but it needs to be funded by governments and funds can be collected by the companies that produce this plastic.

Yes, It's a shame how Big Business has polluted this earth. If people were really concerned they would stop buying anything in plastic. How many will do that? Not many. It begins with those businesses that use plastic to sell everything. This was foretold to happen at Revelation 11:18 were God promises to "Bring to ruin those ruinning the earth."

The heads of corporations who manufacture these materials should be made to visit the places shown. They need to see and smell first hand the impact of how the world environment and humanity is being destroyed. As long as they are allowed to manufacture these plastics, the issue will only worsen.

Review This documentary made by James Roberts is about the plastic pollution in our ocean especially in India which is responsible for about 60% of plastic waste in the ocean. One of the parts that really stuck out to me is when James visits Sarah Nelms a marine biologist and she talks about microplastics. She shows us micro plastic under a microscope and explains how plastic takes hundreds of years to break down completely and it becomes microscopic with wear. She says that she found micro plastic in seal poop and that scientists don’t know exactly how this affects the animal’s body. The main part of the documentary is when James takes a trip to India and discovers that in some places trash collectors don’t come, so the people there throw their trash in a river that leads to the ocean. He is appalled and saddened by this and talks to a local who says that the blame really falls on India’s government. James also meets up with a man determined to clean the beach and he states how hard this is when trash is constantly being washed back on shore. Throughout the documentary the message is clear that plastic is changing our world for the worst and that it should not be treated as disposable.
