Story sessions are, as the name implies, a unique way to document your story. While I have an immense love for photography, video can do things that photos just can't - capturing audio being one of the primary differences.
Hearing each other's voices and seeing footage of yourselves, paired with an immersive soundscape and music, can really evoke some powerful emotions.
And recording audio is not as intimidating as you might think. I give you a space to open up as much as you feel comfortable. You're talking face to face with me the whole time. I'm there as a listener, a friend, and a guide to help you express whatever emotions you feel as we talk.

It was an Airbnb in Gatlinburg, TN called "King of the Mountain"! Super cool place with a great view. I would definitely keep all of your food inside, as there are black bears in the area. CLASS sound design and I loved that opening title card, that 3D tracking was neat AF also. Looks good, nice pace. Though, I'm personally not a fan of extreme color grading. I had a feeling most of the footage was already somewhat graded, especially if you look at one of the "overview" sideway dollyshots in the source footage, which looked like ungraded LOG, or something, very grey and flat. The rest had already way more color in it.
Sevenblade Thanks! I can respect that. Generally I don't go overboard on the colors, but I wanted to try something that I normally don't do and see how it went. I did love the original colors as well though.

Nice work! Looks like you traced the tattoo design at 1:29. I used that same graphic as a motif extensively in my edit and so far I haven't seen anyone doing that. Good luck.

Really nice edit! What is happening with the animation at 1:31? You've created a very believable hit and it looks like the frame rate is changing or something.
jungerer8484 Thank you! And it's really simple, actually. Just before the hit is supposed to make contact, cut out 1 frame. This makes it look faster and can make up for a shot where you can tell the fist doesn't actually make contact.
