@@duaneowens7777 thanks for your comment. The customer service was pretty good. VNA is usually pretty good in this aspect. Of all the times I've flown with VNA they have never been strict with checked luggage and carry-on

Thanks for your comment! I flew with them regularly on the SGN-HAN route before and even though it's alright, I much more preferred Vietnam Airlines. I only flew with them because they gifted me a top tier FF card ( I will make a video about this whole thing some day ). The crew however were usually pretty friendly but their B787 were lacking in IFE and the food onboard SGN-FRA ( 12 hours ) was not on pair with VNA's 2 hour flight to KUL even. Without disclosing too much right now, all I can say is that there's no surprise of what happened with QH after I know how they work internally and how they operate with marketing etc. From one angle it's sad to see them getting rid of most of their fleet, but a part of me can't help to feel it's for the best anyway because of how unprofessional they were behind the scenes.

Thanks for your comment! Actually it was in Finnair's own booking system. I booked through Qatar but I couldn't choose a seat for the Finnar flight. So I took a chance and typed the booking code on Finnair's website and lo and behold I could choose a seat. In their system they did not differentiate between the premium economy and the economy. I was simply able to book a seat in the premium economy section. I honestly think it's a bug in their system.

Were the seats free for you?

Yeah they've sold all 4 of their B787's. They only operate on a few routes now as of December 2023

But it's pretty clear if you know what you're looking for. Since I know approximately when they normally disengage it, it's easier to notice it

Hi Richard, I think most people including myself who make these kinds of videos love everything about aviation. I want to give the viewer the full experience of flying, not just filming the actual seat etc. It's to give the whole journey some context. Thanks for your input though
