Sounds like you're unhappy being imposed on. Authority didn't do right by you, so now maybe you see outside rules and expectations as threats, or at least constraints? I can relate a bit: I had to deal with a lot of arbitrary rule-setting and enforcement growing up, and I ended up timid not just through my teens but into my mid-twenties. I like to think I healed up from that, but I'm past my thirtieth birthday now. All I can do is wish you a swift recovery from being squished into a box as a kid. Seriously, you're not alone. Not sure if you'd want to hear a 'what worked for me' line, so I'll save it for later--or never 😅
@SomeDiscussionRecommended Thank you for your wish. I am in the process of working on healing and or at least stepping away from the self limiting mind-set that I have built for myself. Do share what worked for you. You never know it may work for me as well.

this is my first time ordering from otaku republic bought some Persona 5 yaoi doujinshi since I was not able to find them when I went to Anime Expo a month ago. I just got the email today saying my order has been shipped and it is being delivered by priority shipping. How long will that take to get to me since I live in California and how long did you have to wait for yours?
@ayumuobsessed So I honestly haven't ordered from them in awhile but based on a quick search they ship JapanAir. While handing time and shipping time varies based on my experience with shipping at most 2 weeks if there is delays. Otherwise it should take only like a week based on my calculations with recent Japanese shipping service.

UPDATE: Buyee recently removed their 200 Yen payment fee as well as their condsolidation fee. Do understand that the numbers I am giving you were prior to this fee removal.

I’m late to this but I was planning on buying the Hinata nendroid! The one with his orange jersey. I checked how much it will cost with shipping and stuff. Only $53.30...I’m not so sure though.
I would suggest buying from goodsmile or amiami depending on your location.
Do you reccomened pre ordering from Tokyo otaku mode ? And did you pay tax ?
Honestly I haven't used TOM in 2 years. Its a decision you would need to make. I'm not sure if i did. I personally now use amiami to preorder. I also use various sites depending on what I need. TOM ships from the US so if you're looking to order something now it might be the best site.

Roman Kevin Lumanlan i paid every thing up front based on my receipts from zenmarket. They dont charge you for hold dates on preorders until its in their hands. So if my preorder arrives they will charge me for the day held. But prior to that they dont charge for hold date.

whats otaku reoublic? i was looking up images of danganronpa and i found some douginshi books for sale and stuff but with no way to translate it.
it's a site that sells djs and other goods. if you are looking for translation it'll be hard. some of the djs are translated on manga sites but for the most part novels and things arent.
