These video presentations were great. But I think a little more focus on the machines and equipment would be better in the future. I would like to see more in depth video of how things worked instead of just talking about them

China will dominate the finishing part of printing industry since they have fantastic skillsets in automation, ai as you can see their advancement in EV, mobile phones and ai applications. Heidelberg, Komori and Bobst are trumpeting their single workflow via their prinect, KP-Connect etc etc and this is where the Chinese excel in other industries. Most evidently in the EV industry. Hanglory is just one example.

A good background noise cancellation microphone would make listening so much better. Just play the automatic RUclips transcript and you can see the accuracy is poor due to background noise.

Probably the most informative and useful interview in Print21 series. DRUPA will be a software exhibition with hardware as the supporting role. LOL

I would be happy if I could see an interview with the manufacturer of the inspection machine during the rest of the period. Also, I would like to know in the interview what kind of position inspection machines are in the printing industry.

There was one of these presses at Richmonds Printery in Devonport Tasmania when I worked there in the '70's.

First for being sexually aroused by high speed printing. Mmmm.

My dad had a press like this. I thought it was called a Banthan. Anyone heard of one?

Operated one as an apprentice in the 1950s. Used for Double Demy posters etc. Always thought a Solna proofing press would have been better for such short runs! Could have inked up separate lines in different colours and run as one pass.

I've operated a Wharfdale Press in 1970/80's but the Dawson Patent Flyer was unoperational. It was Belt Driven from Overhead Shaft. We used it for Auctioneers Posters, varying from Crown Folio to Double Crown & Double Demy. Took 2 of us to drop the Larger Formes onto it. Also it was a bit of struggle fitting the Rollers. Posters mainly 2 Colour so had to Spit into 2 Formes after Pulling the Proofs. It was Scrapped when we got a 2 Colour Heidelberg MO.
