For this brief demo, I used the standard Moog filter, which has a fixed slope. If you're looking for a less steep filter, you can choose the onboard SEM filter instead.

Cool! I think they wanted to create the same feel and therefore didn’t change the membrane pad and LEDs, but just improved certain areas. Enjoy your purchase!

Thanks for stopping by! To my knowledge there is no vintage mode. I agree that they could add that in a firmware update, but I am not sure that will happen as they release so many synths nowadays. Hi! Just one Pro-800 (unit) As mentioned in the description: All sounds are recorded dry, towards the end of each demo you'll notice the addition of some applied effects. What you're hearing is the raw output from this Pro-800; no EQ or dynamic tools have been applied.

Thanks! I actually think the interface is excellent. After a few hours, you’ll be navigating every page from memory! There are no submenus either, so once you get familiar with the abbreviations, it feels like second nature. @@dadduorp in my Analog History sound bank manual I have detailed instructions for both Mac and PC. It isn't that hard tbh. But perhaps your case could be a difficult one. Can you shed some light on that? The official editor is something I only should use for the librarian function. Default the patches load up in bank H.

Don't know how quick the Pro-Ones are exactly, but the Model D is a bit slower, I believe. The SE-3X is no slouch: especially since the SE-3X now has SE-02/Omega envelope routines - so exponential - in addition to the standard ones derived from the SE-1X. But I think the Sequential Circuits Pro-One's envelopes are perhaps a bit quicker. You can also invert the envelopes of the SE-3X, allowing you to create even quicker envelopes. Well it is not from the 1970's but inspired by one from the 1980's but get your point. We also created some sounds for more modern takes of classical synths, like the Prophet-6. What are your favorite and more modern synths in this context?

@@stoatystoat174 great tip mate! We do this also, but within our DAW for just a few CC's. Also, if you patch this non-stop for 8 to 40 hours depending on experience, you will fly through the menus!

@@SolidtraxNL yep for sure, I have the Swampf thing on my browser to help when I have my laptop attached. Maybe overthinking years ahead but the old school number pad looks like it might be the first thing to break and harder to replace than a pot, so I try not to use it too much if there's a work around 🤗cheap skate 🛼

Yeah, that is the one feature that is lacking for now. Perhaps Behringer will put that in one day, but we doubt it! But you could use a DAW like Bitwig or Ableton and an internal LFO of these DAW's to either use MIDI-CC control or control via Control Voltages to at least control the filter.

@@SolidtraxNL clock synced synth tremolos are a big part of my band's sound. I sync my keys with my drummer's pads. I run the pro 800 into my keyboard, through its effects, or I use a synced tremolo pedal. It does the job but I'd rather just use the LFO
