I don't know where this story of seminoles being runaway slaves came from. Seminoles were a conglomerate of tribes fighting to protect their land and oil. The word semimole literally means Blacks or Maroons. And what you call the Indian wars was really known in Europe as The Petroleum Movement. This conglomerate of Black Tribes also included California Seminoles. One tribe well known today as Sinaloa fought valiantly and thats the only reason why they arent extinct today. Maybe a little pale but still with us.👍 Maybe if the United States came clean about what really took place in history citizens would know the war never ended.
