bruh reminds me of the nokia phone i used when i was a kid, blue and black screen only calls and texts, don't even have the snake game, i used it for about 2 years i think, the screen cracked, the power button fall off 😂

Agree that this should be the starting unit for kids before smartphones and tablets. No screen time whatsoever and no distractions. Does the job of, as you said, staying connected. Good find, both for you finding the phone, and for me for finding your video, a breath of nostalgia. Subscribe recommended. Suggestion, continue to concentrate on rare finds like this to stand out from the rest and yes, agree to on sharing what counts as necessary to minimize the overloading effect of the smartphone world today. This phone was way ahead of its time, I wanted one so bad when I was a kid! I don't know what Palm is up to these days, but I hope they recreate this phone to today's standards one day.

hospice? must've been used by someone who's disabled or nearing end of life. I recon they got it for someone with dementia so they could use it without getting confused

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I've been really wanting the Win 4 because it looks SO cool! I wanted a Windows based device so I could play more games and do more stuff but now that you've told me about the long load times and buggy Windows experience, I don't think I want to deal with all that when I'll be mostly using it on the go or at work when I have some time... Also there not being a model available with an OLED screen brought down my excitement for it (they are missing out on a LOT of sales to other brands because of just this). I have a top model Steam Deck OLED in my shopping cart on the Steam store and a Win 4 in my Amazon cart trying to decide which one to save up for, the Steam Deck is half the price of the Win 4 so now after watching your review I've OFFICIALLY decided to go with the Steam Deck OLED and I feel extremely confident about it now! Also, I think the trade of having fewer games to play is fine considering how much more reliable and bug free the Steam OS experience seems to be and I think you can also play Game Pass games on it too! Thanks again for the review!

You can put the FM frequency on your radio to the soundboard, and it will play the .wav file over the radio!

Hi. Thanks for the breakdown. I have a question: Does the win 4 fit in your pocket? I'm curious to see if it might fit in jeans, or cargo pants side pockets if it doesn't. Maybe a hoodie front pocket? I'm interested in having a somewhat powerful computer to keep on my person, without a bag or backpack, and I love the design of this device. I wonder if I should wait for a 2025 version though.

You don’t need to solder either the SD to PSP mod, one end clicks into the memory port and the other is then folded into the internals off the PSP with your SD card inserted, it is recommended that you trim a bit of plastic from the supports of the back cover to allow it to fit more snug. I had one, was called the Motorola Milestone in Europe.

Such a cool phone. Fast forward to now. They make every battery non removeable, never give you a keyboard. And your govt can monitor you when the phone is off even. Yes, thats something they can do. Unless you buy a faraday cage for your phone when you want actual privacy, there is no privacy anymore. Not with all the connected smart devices in every home.

Liked this phone so much i bought 3 of them.

I had this one! My very first Android (for like 3 weeks and I returned it because I didnt want a data plan) I liked it! I ended up getting the DROID 2 R2-D2 edition later on!

I had 3 of these, i'd still use one today but they would break after 2-3 years and don't even accept 3 party batteries. From a design perspective they still are fantastic, they can be used even for things like ROM emulation because of the physical keyboard and D pad.

This is the only Android I would be willing to switch over for if it was released today!

That brings up a lot of memories, it was my first Android smartphone. Marketed as the Motorola Milestone over here in Europe, and I absolutely loved it. I even got the official charging dock for it.
