    Not very helpful...my light are orange and green. It's only two years old and the oil has been changed. Does it need complete maintenance every year? And how the heck do you get the wifi online? Tried to follow the directions given, but the display on the generator tells me to go right or left and there are no buttons for right or left, just up and down. I'm sure there is reasonable explanation for this🙄

      Thanks for your questions! One way to better understand what the lights indicate is to open the lid on the generator and check the control panel for any error codes, or alerts, that may be present. The LED lights work in tandem with the control panel to let the homeowner and technicians know what needs to be addressed on the generator.     Your video does not mention anything about pulling the 7.5 amp fuse. This is mentioned in the manual and says it's an important step in the shut down process. Why not in this video?

    Since only Apple devices are covered here, does that mean I cannot connect to my 22kw Generac with my Galaxy (Android) phone? Should say something about that here..

      Hello Ralph, we saw your comment on our video - In short, your Generac and Mobile Link app will work with both Android and Apple devices. The process is nearly the same.       5 minutes... I don't think there is a way to extend it. Really should have an option to set it longer than 12-15 mins to ensure the engine comes up to temp.

      I’ve been trying to get into this menu for forever for some reason it changed and now I’m trying to fix it so I can’t get anything to blink on the menu when it comes up at all nothing so it’s not giving me the ability to go and choose whatever I want to change, which is the schedules maintenance runanybody with any ideas would be great to have them

    I have had my generator for over 10 years now. We had a couple of tornado's in the area (Houston, Tx) and we were out of power for over 6 days. The generator ran for that 6 day period, night and day. I did stop it and check the oil several times (It was OK) and I started it back up and it continued to run without any problem. Mobile Link was available at that time but I did not get it. Now both WIFI and Mobile Link is available but after reading the problems people have experienced I have about talked myself into NOT getting either one. It would be just one more thing to fail. On the news it showed AT&T has massive cellphone/internet outages and Verizon may not be far behind. If this is caused by hackers I would not want them to get into my generator and shut it off during a storm or power failure.

    I’m an actual PWR Cell system has been junk, never runs more than six months without failure. Has failed multiple times during power cuts. It has safety issues with the snap RS fiasco and now my system is down as often as up and Generac only gives me a run around. MY SYSTEM IS ONLY THREE YEARS OLD. This is why Generac has four class action lawsuits pending.

    My inverter was in Waiting state. The error code was related to overvoltage and Generac support confirmed the voltage input graph was sporadic. I confirmed a solid 242V AC input on L1 & L2. It was eventually fixed by adding a neutral connection. I can’t explain why, but I haven’t had any issues since.

    Saludos. Tengo un problema con los 8 Módulos SMM que tengo solo para los 8 aires acondicionadosDeje dos SMM para tenerlos de “spare” para dos futuros aires acondicionados, todavía están sin usar. Después de 18 meses de uso sin problemas, los SMM empezaron a parpadear aleatoriamente, como si surgiera un “outage” del grid eléctrico. Inicialmente pensé que era algo normal para proteger el sistema PWRcell de las irregularidades del grid. Lo informé a la compañía local. Le dieron largas al asunto y después de ellos revisar, el técnico autorizado dijo que no tiene garantía. Pagué a la compañía local $150 una evaluación de ellos que pidieron solo para mover y permanecer el switch en “Lockout Mode OFF” a todos, y todavía no me han dado un reporte de que le sucede a los SMM. Tampoco evaluaron los otros dos módulos SMM adicionales de “spare”, por NO estar conectados. Ayúdeme, por favor. Que está mal?

    Muy buena orientación. Hacía falta. Ayuda: Mis módulos SMM se activan y desactivan continuamente, aunque el grid eléctrico está presente. En 18 meses de uso funcionaba correctamente. Tengo que mover el switch a modo “Lockout OFF” a todos los SMM, pues sería una tortura si lo dejo en modo ON. Que está mal? Pagué a la compañía local para evaluación y causa, no me dice y no resuelve. Ayuda, por favor.

    Is there a video for PV Links in 'Offline' state at the inverter, or when they do not appear among installed devices at the inverter? PV Link parameters cannot be edited in such circumstances.

    How about when the PV Link is not registered or found by the inverter, and parameters (e.g. Vin Startup) cannot be accessed at all for adjustment? I've seen PV Links in 'Offline' state at the inverter, or not listed at all.

    My oil fill cap vibrated loose and fell off blew oil out of it until low pressure occurred and shut down !! I contacted Generac service and asked for a technician to come out and check my unit but didn’t get a response!!

    I have this system and have been very happy with it. Unfortunately I have a battery error (7000 error code) that could not be resolved so my installer needs to come out. I hope this is an exception as I have read of others having the issues. One question is if Generac is going to stick with NMC for batteries or if you are planning to migrate to LFP? I know thatTesla Powerwall 3 is using LFP instead of NMC due to the many advantages. I'm hoping Generac will follow suit. Thanks!

    I bought a complete system (31 solar panels, Pwrcell Inverter, 2 battery cabinets each housing 6 batteries. The install was done by PowerHome (now out of business) and since then I've had to rely on support from Generac which has been a complete nightmare. All they want to do is pass it on to a "Authorized Repair" dealer which is another nightmare in itself. I do not recommend dealing with Generac at this time.

    I would suggest doing a list of videos to demonstrate how to set various items on the inverter. TOU method, 'Clean Backup', "Reserve Mode' for batteries. These are all items that are becoming even more important with the inverters installed with Solar+backup. You are obviously seeing many more especially in the state of CA.
