You're super awesome!!!😁😁⭐️
Thanks!
I've discovered this channel recently and it's amazing. I just have some questions: are there any specific tips for managing a group of high school/university students? And what practical activities could you suggest to have with teachers when delivering a workshop on Classroom Management? Thanks in advance 🙏
Thanks! I'm glad you like the channel. To be honest, high school and university students aren't my expertise. There are things you can try, but it's too much to try and explain in a comment box. I suggest you find a channel our resource that focuses on that age group. :) I'm sorry I can't help more with that topic. As for classroom management, I think that having fun & providing interesting + challenging activities is one important key for effective classroom management. So, I often adapt my classroom activities for my workshops. For example, I have teachers do a Mingle activity to find people who have similar answers to them. You can find a lot more of my ideas and in greater detail on my website: www.starteachertraining.com Good luck to you!
👌
This is really great!
I'm glad you found it useful. :)
Thank you so much

Thank you, sir ❤
Most welcome!
I found your channel randomly and watched your all videos. I hope you have plan for to share more. I started teaching in Thailand and this is my second semester. I don't have any experience before this. I have preschool and primary classes, all young learners. I love them so much and I know they love me too but they don't respect me at all. Generally in my school local teachers yell or punish for to control them. I hate this behavior all my life so I'm nice with them. Maybe for this reason some of my classes push me so hard. they can turn into chaos in an instant. So I'm looking into what can I do to fix this and how can I find a balance.
Thanks for sharing with me. I'm glad you found my videos to be useful. I hope to put more out in the future once I'm finished with several big projects I've been working on. If you want more of my content, please check out my website. There are a lot more articles with games and classroom management ideas that should really be helpful. You can also send me a question through the contact page if you have anything specific you want help with. Good luck!
@@StarTeacherTraining Thank you! Definitely I'll check your website and turn on notification for your new video.

Your channel is so underrated
Thanks for that. 😄 I'm hoping to put out more content in the future once I complete some big projects.
Great techniques. Those give me a lot of ideas. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! 😄
Is this system applicable for primary school students and even a bit older children of 10-11 years old?
Yes, in theory it will work. However, I find that you need a something to remind students about consequences in older ages, especially in larger classes. I generally recommend a Shark & Swimmer system (or variation of) with primary learners. I don't have a video, but you can check out this page; starteachertraining.com/shark-swimmer-behavior-management-system/
Thank you! ❤️

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it 😀
Great tips, thank you. I also sing or make up chants in my class whilst drilling words
I'm so glad to hear it. :) Songs and chants are also really great. What kinds of chants do you make?
excellent
Thanks! Glad you liked it 🙂
Great ideas! Thank you. Do you have a video ( or a list) with examples of sentences or structures where you use the drilling method? Thank you!
No I don't 😔, but that's a great idea. 😃
At the beginning of the school year, I do use teacher, or teacher Joseph, but over the first few months I move towards using me and I. I find this really helps with grade 1 and 2 students. With older students, I use use me and I all the time.
Thanks for sharing. :) Do you remember how you first started to use "teacher" or "teacher Joseph"? Did you see someone else do it first? And how do you decide when to start speaking more naturally? Is it an intuition or something else?
@@StarTeacherTraining I used it because that was what students were used to. I figured if I started to use it and slowly over the course of the first two months change to using "me" and "I", it would be easier for them to understand what I was saying. But I only do that for grade 1 and 2. Especially grade 1, as for many, this is their first introduction to school.
@@j.p.wanderlust6649 I see. 🙂 What else do you do to help Grade 1s? Have you found any new challenges with the return to in-person teaching?

I attended your training session through Apollo today. It was a great learning experience. Thank you.
Thanks for your comment! I'm so glad you had a great experience. I hope you got some really useful ideas for your lessons. :)
Great activity!
Thanks Nick! :)
Thank you for sharing your videos
I would have a "free choice" option for students to come up with their own words, also.
I am sick of "stupid games for stupid prizes". Students should just play for fun and learning. Keep the great ideas coming, man!
Go watch that guy's attention grabers video. Pure gold. I owe this guy big time.
Really an interesting idea! Thanks for sharing.
