The fifth Psalm is likely another morning Psalm continuing with the alternating trend of Psalms 3 and 4. David expresses his petition with urgency asking God to bring about judgment of the wicked. He also references the righteous with this psalm possibly later being used as a way of proclaiming who could stand before God in His house and who could not.

Today, we discuss the meaning and relevance of Psalm 4. The third psalm was thought to be a morning psalm and the fourth, an evening one. While it does not specify a connection to three, it seems very plausible that David is still praying in regards to his flight from Jerusalem.
