    Hello. 1. Is it possible to use OMI with Archestra graphics not assigned to any automation objects? I mean without modeling the equipment... 2. Is it possible to create a totally custom navigation menu? or is it linked to Nodes or areas? 3. Do you have any available documentation or manuals for Intouch OMI? Thanks !

      You can create your own custom navigation model and drag/drop graphics from the GTB. You do not need to use automation objects.

      @@ChrisCoble Is it possible to make o video on this? I'm really struggling with this. I created the navigation model and dragged and dropped symbols but it is only allowed on the navigation root. Thanks so much!

      By default on a new ViewApp, the equipment model is automatically linked into the ViewApp. You can delete this node if you like. When you click on the root node then, select "Add" to create a new navigation level. While selected on this new node you should be able to drag/drop content into the panes.

    Hi, i have 1 app 2 screens whith identical screens same picture. I try to use the new OMI + navigation. Now i have problem, if i click on navigation in 1 screen same time 2 screen sow picture wich i chuse on 1 screen. How configure the layout or navigation pane? I need that on each window the navigation worked separately from each other on the same application with two screens.

    • @chriswickes3569
      @chriswickes3569 6 лет назад

      Each "Screen" is assigned a layout. If you want different content to show on each of the screens, make sure the "Content Type" assigned to the layout specific area are different. If you want them to display the exact same content, than simply make sure they use the same layout. If you need further assistance, please contact your local Wonderware technical support provider. They should be able to walk you through this. Good luck!

      At present there is only 1 navigation model which determines where all content goes across all screens. In the backlog is the ability to create a Navigation model specific to a Layout, which will solve your problem when that feature is released.

    How do we customize the NavTreeControl to obtain the one of 0:55 in the video?

    • @chriswickes3569
      @chriswickes3569 6 лет назад

      Great question! The navigation tree is, by default, an exact replica of the Model view of App Server. The one shown at the point you referenced was built either by allowing the NavTree to exactly mimic the App Server model, or the user customized it by adding custom nodes. The NavTree is very configurable. For example, you can have the NavTree start at a specific “node” (Area) in the model, or add your own custom nodes within. Colors and the “look and feel” is also customizable. The configuration of the NavTree is accomplished within either the Layout (where you drop the NavTee app onto a pane/panel), or in the InTouchOMI ViewApp templates. Both locations enable you to set the customization (configuration) of the NavTree that you desire. Full disclosure…the application shown at the time you referenced is actually an example application from our friends in South Africa. I don’t have direct access to their application…but you can use the example I show in the video, and simply select the NavTree within either the pane/panel or the InTouchOMI ViewApp Template and try out your own customizations Hope this helps!
