step down add nothing to the explosive up motion except risk injury - no idea what these clowns are doing half the time. just do a high jump without step down and you will achieve the same - for 1000s of years we have been calling this a 'jump'

a B-skip is a B-skip.... if you want to do it differently then call it a different name. This 100% is not a B-skip. I've been doing it longer than this guy has been on the planet so he is 100% wrong.
