I live in indiana where the most amish live in the state. There are many different churches with various differing rules at each church. Mostly they dont wear colors(white, black, and blue). Ive never seen an amish shop with lights, besides burning lamps. They do not have covered buggies. Some use gas pumps for water when its not windy. Otherwise they use windmills. Most of the men are carpenters. Some work in factories(wood working factories for RVs). Ive never seen an amish shop that large or that well lit, besides their grocery store with sun roof😂. They use blocks of ice for their grocery store and have an outhouse in the back. Its the place to go if you want 40pound bags of flour, cases of hot dogs, and big blocks of cheese.😂

If fine food means hot dog stew cooked on kerosene... then they sure make the finest😂😂

That’s a cool idea to do with some of your mums. The one at the beginning where they were layered in half circle each color a half ring. Maybe you can double your stock for next year. That would look cool. Too bad I live where everything fries. Even with being watered. I also see how the three stackable with different color gourds and pumpkins are a big hit this year. Thanks for the field trip. Gives me more ideas and I don’t have to leave the house. 😊

I’m sorry to hear you are feeling discouraged about your channel growth but I hope you stick it out! I don’t know a lot about RUclips ( I don’t have a bucket list yet but having a a channel would be on my to bucket list 😊) but I do hear other you tubers comment that it takes a while to really grow. It sounds like there are also some “tricks” to making that happen if growth in subscribers is your target or measure of success. Although maybe that is a question you need to reflect on? What is your measure of RUclips success? I just started binge watching your videos and by reading the comments, it is obvious that the quality of followers you are attracting IS in your target group so maybe it’s quality over quantity unless of course monetizing is your goal. You popped up for me and it sounds like for others so that must be a positive in the world of YT algorithm. The name change is an interesting idea although I will say that YOU make this channel wonderful regardless of the name. Food for thought is it really the second phase or is it the NEXT phase (season?). I am closer to the end of my 50s and I feel like I might be in my 8th or 9th phase at least! Thanks for sharing!

On my, yes! All of these things! I mean what grandchild doesn’t want to see their parents state testing scores and newspaper articles from ALL their parents accomplishments? 😂 It has given us some laughs but it really does weigh you down. I am new on this journey to “lighten the load” so I may refer to this often. I am trying to be better with my grandkids but man old habits die hard.
