No sir that's not love....we should love them as Christ loved us when we were sinners and his enemy. I understand we should walk wisely in this world. He said love them as I have loved you unconditionally.
Interesting perspective hmm. Let's take this example...when thieves break into your house do you hug them, wash their feet, serve them with a delicious meal and then ask them to go on with their mission?
You may need to take more time and digest what Jesus said. He said to be wise as a serpent. Take more time in the Word in silence and the Holy Spirit will show you. Remember you are also supposed to mark and avoid certain people. Romans 16:17-18 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. Our enemies serve their own bellies. God is not confused. Each verse in His word does not come in isolation. An enemy is not your neighbour so you can never love them as you love yourself. There is no mix up in God's Word.
