Hi, most likely the surfaces are not tangent. Ensure when you create lines on geometry you select "geometry on support". It would help if i know which part exactly you're referring to.

Hi, everything you referred to is in the settings. They're set at default on the 2020 version which i assume you're using. On the toolbar, right-click & select graphic options, From there you can change the colour of the mesh. The project is do-abe on all versions of CATIA. The toolbars are just set at different places. When I create a sphere I definitely get a "subdivision surface" under geometrical set. Because it's the first object, that's why the geo set appears. I will be posting a new project on the IMA workbench starting tomorrow using Catia V5 2020. I think that will more easier for you to follow along. Hope this helps.

On the toolbar that pops up when you create the sphere, there's an icon near the right end that says 'mesh view' ...go through the icons you'll find it. Let me know if it works

@@themartiandogengineer Yes there is when i press it cage is going invisible but for point selection catia take refer to cage corners(invisible cage) not ball points.

Hi, The GSD_PointsSplineLoftFromExcel.xls is located at your CATIA installation directory e.g. C:\Program Files\Dassault Systemes\B25\win_b64\code\command Within the command folder you will be able to find the Excel file called GSD_PointsSplineLoftFromExcel.xls. Double click on it to open the file.

If Macros is not enabled on your excel, you can search on RUclips 'How to enable macros in excel'. All the best ! 👍🏼

On the tool bar that appears when you're editing the subdivision surface there's an option to switch from edge selection to points selection. Click to switch.

@@themartiandogengineer Thank You!, I tried, but may be, I'm explaining myself wrong, Problem is: the sphere that catia gives me, comes with only 4 control points and because of that, less surface subdivision lines, so that when I switch to the control points selection option, I will only have four to choose from. For every Catia version, you'll find the minimum laptop specs indicated I would recommend you have at least 8GB RAM & a dedicated processor like Nvidia or AMD Ryzen for a smooth operation.
