Can you do more system wrestling review like Sidakov handfight system
been waiting for this 🔥🔥
nice❤
Sitting in the sun, watching this in Aus. Great breakdown.
his snapdown go behind or transition to single leg/ankle pick seems like just a fluid motion of movement
Awesome breakdown. You're becoming one of my top wrestling RUclips channels. I noticed the same thing and had the same question about why Ono seems to always attack the opponent's left leg when he does a left-hand overtie snap (vs. attacking the opponent's right leg when he does a left-hand collar tie snap). Here is my guess: First, his overtie and collar tie snaps to leg attack are automatic, highly drilled actions. He's not waiting to see where the opponent's leg/body lands (and to your point, he doesn't care which foot is front on the snap itself). Ono is snapping and going for the predetermined leg with (almost?) no exceptions. This is part of what makes him so fast. He's not thinking or reacting to the opponent; he's firing off automatically based on some queu (like the moment he feels the opponent's collar tie fall off his neck, he knows he's shooting for that left leg). This makes for some occasionally "weird" sequences, like the Vito example. Vito's right leg is so much closer, but Ono's drilled response is to go for the other leg, which he does, even though it seems strange. As for WHY he chose to make going for that leg his automatic drilled response, I think it might have to do with his body angle on the overtie vs collar tie snap. When he does his collar tie snap with the head shrug, his body ends up sort of pointed at 10-11 o'clock (looking from above), making the opponent's right leg more in front of him. When he does his overtie snap, his body is angled the other way, 1-2 o'clock. So the right leg is more directly in front of him. Anyway, those are my best guesses. Thanks again for what you do!
How'd we fair against Ohio State
Hi can you make a analysis / breakdown of tahzu plz there is literally nothing on the internet on him
Imagine being at a Cael Sanderson seminar and laying down and yawning.
Absolutely FILTHY
Just patiently waiting for the breakdown 😮💨
What is there to breakdown? He's shooting singles from space and following them through to maximum effect. Best way to get better at this is to do reps and reps.
@@gamespotlive3673that’s not the only thing he does
Turned to reversal into an escape, good job 👍
Amazing. Flexibility to bend that far back, escape and turn.
Can you make a breakdown video about it, would be so helpful and appreciative if u could.❤
…and why it is called the “Kiyooka Defense Sequence.” Is it the name of a person Sho developed it?
could yo do one about his unique head between the legs leg lace? appreciate you man❤
was hoping someone would do a video on him! thanks❤
Crazy!!!
He so fast and athletic 😂
Please keep doing great work. Thanks a lot!
Love the content. Can we see a breakdown video on gable?
Beautiful
Great vid! Can you also make a study of Arman Andreasyan or Arsen Harutyunyan 🙏🏽🏆
Please do more full breakdowns like these
Love the format
What if he grabs your wrist before you can do it also could you make another video on this or no
❤❤❤
Don't know if you're going to post a newer video this year, but happy new year 🎉
do a video on same or similar footwork for different attacks. i neee to see the options to build a system off elbow control
Sneaky he won’t fall for that again😂
@WrestlingRabbitHole Are you a former high school wrestler?
Yes, I also wrestled in college.
@@WrestlingRabbitHole Thank you for answering. I appreciate your analysis and insight. Keep up the good work!
Do you know where to find any footage of Ono before he broke his leg and developed his overtie snap series?
ruclips.net/video/aixs68auesU/видео.htmlsi=5D1hWgdY7A2BwLv5 This match was in 2019 (Ono was still in high school and the other guy is 65kg paris olympic champ)
It's my first year and I already did this
By the way Zaurbek Sidakov is Ossetian not Russian 😉😉
thank you so much! your videos are awesome. I knew just from the channel name, "wrestling rabbit hole", that I'd love this channel.
Yes, finally!!! I've been waiting for this for quite a while. Always specific and in-depth. 👍
📝
That freeze frame makes bro look like hes about to get violated😂
Amouzad wanted no part of Kiyooka. Kiyooka punked Amouzad and dismantled him.
How do you think he forces that thumb block to be bent and loose? Is it just by a hard collar?(thats what i’ve seen him do most of the times before the ear snap)
I don't think he has to force it. I think that's just what the opponent's do.
@@WrestlingRabbitHoleThanks for the response, I really appreciate it!
Before the World Championships and Ono's injury, what even was his primary attack?
This one,but he perfected it so thats why he can do it on Uguev or Arujau
Another great session, will miss the uploads. But people should live their lives, and not be stuck to their work.
Just found your channel. I appreciate your technical breakdown. Thanks
Great wrestling
0:33 he’s sucking him up with is lock in into his hip?
Is it similar to a roll through tilt with a two on one, in folkstyle, with a high leg over instead of a roll?
They're freaking strong
30 in. "No malicious intent"? Knox absolutely did that on purpose. Why not? Is he out anything? You really think he didn't know that by cradling the foot that way it was going to turn that into a joint attack? Guys are watching a LOT of BJJ these days, this isn't 1980, they know what they are doing.
Great chat as always. Thanks for these fellas
College Flo rankings are Kozal and JD and they try to follow mental set of rules like head to head and they include past follstyle results only. But there is a subjective component at the very end which is how you get clickbait changes like 125. They give subjective weighting to strength of wins and bad losses.
Holy moly, you are probably the most dedicated person to wrestling ever. I will tell everyone I know to subscribe to your other channel so you can add more if you want. 👍
