Lauren Roberts wasn't "INSPIRED", she straight copied Hunger Games & Red Queen! She also threw in stuff from other popular books. I understand it's YA, but I've read a lot of YA and her writing was super juvenile and cringy. It has to be the most OVERHYPED book ever by Bookish Content Creators! I just sat there stunned when I tried reading this book thinking, WHAT IS GOING ON with Booktube?! And I'm pretty basic and easy to please, but y'all, this is just objectively BAD to be getting all these 5 stars! 🤦🏻‍♂
