Uncovering Indonesia's Mysterious Bigfoot - The Orang Pendek! | CryptidChronicles
I have fun playing and i play like 5 games a day when im off work, that being said, i dont enjoy ranked
She was a narcissistic psychopath living by "my way or no way". She expected her family to buy her a house. Of they couldn't, she had the strength to unalive herself not thinking that her family might get worried, not having the dignity to die as a normal human being. Despicable person . Despicable life. Her parents didn't deserve to be falsely accused of abusing her . On the bright side, it is great she didn't take with others by causing a car accident or other misdeeds that would have put other's life at risk.
Dawn Momohara is an adult now.
I’ve been following this case for years and was very glad to learn of her identity. May she RIP.
Headstones, do NOT amount to D.N.A. or finding a child that died around Christmas. Being found: with that song ( cassette ) playing when Paramedics/Authorities found her ( the Child not the mother ).
First thing to do is find out if a child died around Christmas; Whilst, her mother was drunk and doing elicit things. The clues she bought!
Suicide, was my first thought s well. Because, of her being found by the "Infant" part of the Cemetery.
Stop playing this crap and get a girlfriend after 1-2 months, it's guaranteed.
$50 for cremation !
So sad 😞
Watching this as I've quit my addiction and play sometimes casually. For me it was easy to quit as I don't get anymore dopamine from playing too much. I used to use this game as my primary distraction and to pass the time, but now I'm focusing on my hobbies more and honestly I'm happy that I don't waste as much time on League anymore.
Sad woman. There are millions others that feel like she did. I pray everyone finds happiness.
I just started to play. Very addictive. You need to stay sane. Not easy.
very compassionately presented. RIP Joyce
And i don't love aesthetic and gameplay anyway
Thank God I've never loved this type of gameplay anyway. I love to be dependent on my skills only. With team it's just impossible
Please reconsider the music while speaking. It's completely unnecessary and makes listening to this impossible for many neurodiverse and/ or hard of hearing. That ghoulish noise is particularly awful.
Thank you for the feedback, that is something I will definitely address in my next videos. Appreciate it!
@vanderexplains Thank you. 😊
I followed this case for so many years. So glad she got her name back. Rest in Peace Joyce.
😢
"And I can onlyhope that she is now in a much better place in the universe." - This somehow made me emotional,
As sad as her story is let’s be honest, her only reconnecting with her parents & siblings to basically demand new housing then ditching them again when they couldn’t provide what she wanted reeks of narcissism & someone who is an opportunist. In my opinion, she failed in life because she only valued those around her that could provide what she wanted and could live up to her demand’s & expectations. Within the comment section on this thread folks seem to be treating this woman with kid gloves and automatically painting her family as abusers when in fact it seems to me she used a number of emotional manipulative tactics to guilt trip those in her life. Nothing seemed to ever be her fault and as a result she carried around this victim mindset where everyone in her life was always doing something to her. I would even venture to say that her cutting off contact & taking her own life was another narcissistic power play to leave her family in emotional distress and to further place blame regarding the lack of success in her life in her family. You can tell she was also the type of person that had to have the last word & wanted instant acknowledgment for every achievement in life. When she didn’t get either then you were automatically an enemy. So for those who want to have pity for her ending, take account of everything and look at the role she played in her own demise.
What a tragic and compelling story. I'm not sure why, but the idea of listening to comedy tapes as you slip away makes it extra sad. She just wanted to laugh one last time.
I have watched hundreds of true crime and unsolved docs and these don't normally make me cry. But this one did. Poor lady, I so hope she found the peace she was looking for.
Joyce is disturbingly similar to me -- I am also an artist, writer, and once showed grrat promise as an actress. I also loved listening to Monty Python tapes just like the one found at the death scene. I am now 50 and let me tell you, sonething shifts at that age when you haven't made full use of your talents and you're just kind of languishing in unrealized goals and unrecognized talent, and your body is aging and you don't feel like starting anew is a possibility. Artists are sensitive people, and we are often introverts; teaching that many children would stress me beyond belief. I just really relate to her. Sorry for the ramble. This made me very sad, especially the little Christmas tree. Your presentation was lovely.
Please do not be sorry. Stories, experiences and perspective like what you just shared here is exactly what I imagined my community and the videos that I made to incite. Thank you for opening up again sharing once more. I truly appreciate it. Thank you, stay safe and take care
Sometimes we have to accept that we are ordinary people. Most people are ordinary. We do the best we can.
@firecracker4151 ❤
@@vanderexplains Thank you for that.❤
I'm 42 and what you are saying makes perfect sense. I am starting to feel as if the time is getting short. I hope that you are well and will get the opportunity to see your art recognised and enjoyed. ❤
could be could be....
Sometimes the first born, or the oldest children are abused and the younger siblings are not. People learn through experience so it's not to hard to understand how this happens. Parents learn better ways to cope and aquire skills and resources that help them get better at raising their kids. I have friends that like Joyce, had an entirely different experience growing up than their younger siblings did. They weren't even able to grieve with their siblings on the same level when their parents passed. So, I totally understand that Joyce felt alone and insignificant in this world. She left her nooks in the refrigerator so they wouldn't be destroyed by rodents. She did want to be heard, but she didn't feel important enough to shout out her story. Her suicide was as polite as a suicide can be. Shelaid on a sheet of plastic to make the removal of her body easy. I think she left out her name in hopes someone may care enough to find out who she was. Its so sad that so many people did care, but not when she was alive to feel cared about. RIP Joyce - You should've had a better ending.
I'm 26 and have been listening and reading about true crime and other darker stories since I was around 14, and Joyce's story is one of the few that made me cry. Thank you for sharing it in such a nice and honourable way. 🖤
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. I truly appreciate comments like these
I had heard of this sad case years ago but until now knew nothing of the details. This was an excellent account, very well-researched, and sensitively portrayed.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and comments. I appreciate your kind words
I'm surprised that they didn't contact the medical alert company. I had one & there is a number that connects to me in case I am incapacitated, medical personnel can get my information.
Interesting video. She had a Cesarean scar. She and her husband had no children. Did she have a a baby before she married? Did it die? Was it buried near where she died? Was it adopted and then did not want to know her or died just before she did? So many possibilities. Why the tree and the cassettes? Did they find where she was living immediately prior to her death? As for therapy and/or counselling: when I was working I came across many [and I mean many] people who had false memories imposed on them. It is appalling the way some therapists work. The families are then left to pick up the pieces or, as in this case, be discarded. It is certainly a thoughtful piece but brought back memories of people I knew broken rather than helped by therapy.
I kept thinking that throughout the video, too. It seems the therapy hurt more than helped...the false memory thing was a real problem in the 90s.
Thank you for this account of a real-life tragedy. As others have said, the scar is significant. You mentioned that the police had investigated 🔎 any links between the graves of the children and the deceased? The other aspect, potentially, is that she chose to die at the childrens cemetary as a symbol of her own unhappy childhood? Perhaps as a young girl/woman, she did feel "sufficated" and so chose to ende her life in this way? I agree with some of the other comments. No two people, even in the same family, can ever know what another is truly experiencing. I have mixed feelings about her identity being shared? I agree we should respect the wishes of the dead - however her existence has been validated. Thank you 🙏🙌
Thanks for leaving your comment and for engaging with the community, love to see it! yea speaking about your questions, it really is a mystery at this stage as to the choice of location where she ended her life, the scar, her traumatic childhood. But it is good to see us discussing it in an open forum like this. Your theory might just be true, she might have felt suffocated, and yes sharing her name, even to this day, mixed feelings for me. Thanks again for taking your time. Stay safe and take care
There’s something wrong with a person who cuts off their family and only invites them back years to ask for money for a nicer place to live.
I’m the youngest of 6, and I’ve felt alone & depressed most of my life. At least 3 of my siblings have no idea why I am this way bc their experience was different.
Wow I’ll never forget this one, had no idea it was now solved im so excited to hear about it.
That's how I wanna go out but I wanna be forgotten, I don't want anyone trying to solve "my case".
Good video would have been perfect if the music was lower
Thank you
I've watched hundreds of true crime docs and mysteries but for some reason this really hit hard. So sad I began tearing up driving home while listening to this one. Poor woman.
Same here. Certain stories hit hard and this is one of them.
Same . This one got to me emotionally. I hope she is in a better place and is at peace. Joyce RIP
2:03 I worked at a Cemetary where their garden for young children or babies was also called Babyland at one point. They changed it to “The Garden of Angels” which honestly seems so much more… I guess dignified? Babyland just seems like a weird name for it to me
Thanks for doing a shout out of NOVA
Im 1 of 4 and we all had very, very different lives growing up. I believe her. I had no idea this case was solved. Im so glad she has a name. I always found this case so sad.
The lady had mental health issues.
I can get behind the argument that her family had the right to know her identity, but I'm iffy about her name being announced to the whole world. I feel like people in true crime community sometimes feel they're entitled to certain things.
Beautifully shared story. What I appreciate is that we need to embrace the goodness in life and in each other, and at the same time overcome our fear of death because we have no true control over when death will fall on our path, but we must not allow that to steal our joy, we must not allow that to turn us bitter or cold. We live in a world where people are angry and or violent because they are sad, confused, afraid, and not mentally well. And therefore, we can become random victims of their confusion and disorder. But I believe only the body dies, and we transition into another realm and are given a new form/body. I used to allow grief to consume me because of my great fear and sadness about death. But I try daily to overcome that by loving others and seeing the beauty in each life form.
Thanks again! What a lovely message and perspective that you have shared with the community. I'm sure other readers would appreciate this perspective. Beautifully said Thanks again and take care
I remember this case very well. It's the first time I heard of a 'Jane Doe' referring to themselves as such.
We live in such a very random, strange world. It’s impossible to understand the reason behind most human activity. Millions and millions of sentient beings floating around, all with very different understanding of things, all with variations of emotional stability, and all with variable intentions in our inner most being.
Thank you for commenting snd sharing your thoughts, and i think you are absolutely right. We live in a world where we as humans live by social norms and codes of morals and ethics, but at the end of the day, what a particular individual feels or does is beyond our control Appreciate the insight into your prespectives
How would someone suffocate themselves?
R.I.P.
Wouldn’t it be more respectful to leave her anonymous as she wished?
Yes it would!
I can understand how Joyce felt and still do. Joyce I hope you are happy now. God rest you lovely lady
