God that brings back memories. Grandparents had a house a block from Hunts Pier. Spent many summers roaming the Boardwalk during the late 60's.

Yeah we go here every year, my cousins and grandparents and I. We had to skip because of covid-19, but next year, we're going for longer! My grandparents discovered this place on their honeymoon... So glad they did! I miss this place!

I rode the trail for the first time yesterday. We started on the Nj side of Washington’s Crossing. We did 10 miles on the Nj side & then came back on the Pa side via New Hope bridge. I’d like to do the whole 44 mile trek some time.

Sorry, but for some reason hearing the 3 "holy shit" in the sound track seemed to have dropped my desire to finish my planed 3 part comments on my experience on the DC.

Oops, watching this video immediate after watching Part 1, I just now realized the toe path my Dad and I were on was on the NJ side and not the PA side..... However I have canoed on this canal system with my Dad and sister in the late 50s or perhaps early 60s. Thanks for the ride......... Off to Part 3 now........

Lovely ride, thanks for taking me along. First: Congratulations on making the big drop, I am writing this 6 years after you made/posted this video so truly hope all is now as you planed. Second: My Dad n I were big bike riders decades ago. My dad even more so since he was retired. The last time I was on the Delaware Canal was with him on a ride just from LambertVille to Washington's crossing perhaps in the early 90s? He however this ride with him was riding with a bike club that tried to do a yearly ride across various states in the North East. This time he was riding from High Point NJ to Cape May NJ with the club and he was in his 70s than.... Again thank you for the memories and I will now be off to your Part 2.......

Hey SunLight nice job with these vids you post. I often ride here and love the hell out of it. I often do the Frenchtown to Washington's crossing and often crossover to the PA side from Stockton and take it south after a pit stop at the country store. Whenever I can't ride I know to come to RUclips for my fix with your videos. I hope to join your team one day on a ride if we still have a trail with all this recent heavy rain were getting. Well keep um cranking and I'll keep a eye out for you guys and may we meet one day.

I would like to have seen more footage in Collegeville. My mother grew up in Collegeville. My grandfather started Landes Bros. Inc. on Yerkes Rd in Collegeville. I can remember walking down the old tracks before they made it into the Perkiomen Trail.

I do this every weekend now when I visit my parent's house coming from New York.
