Thanks! I know a lot of people don't like the rainbow BTAs and consider them a 'weed', but I really enjoy them! I love their color (especially under blue LED), shape, and movement. I harvest about 4 to 5 of them a month and trade them in at my LFS. I hope the Colorado sunburst continues to split! I'd love for it to take over the right side of the tank.

@@Sonofgaladriel1 ​Nice, that is what I was thinking too! Love seeing all your nems. I have always wanted a magnifica but just cant find any locally and cant justify spending $300+ online for one. One day though. Anyway, thanks for all the inspiration

they don’t ship very well because exporters don’t treat them for vibrio before sending. there are threads on reef 2 reef explaining the treatment process! i don’t have mags yet but im told pacific east aquaculture is the best source albeit pricey. and lax aquarium has 3-4 big healthy ones in stock rn

There is a small harem of Pink skunk clowns in there! A breeding pair and a subordinate male. Living happily!

Thank you! I suggest reading as much as you can on the particular species you want to keep from as many sources as possible.

I use the 4 Square flow pattern. 25% to 90%. Based on a PAR graph provided by BRS on the Kessil A360WE's, at 100% intensity and color, the nems are getting over 300 PAR. Add to that whatever PAR the T5 Blue Plus and the Quanta Meso LED bars are putting out. It's probably close to 400 PAR total. Nitrates are at 35. Phosphate .25.

@@Sonofgaladriel1 Thank you so much for the answer! What you have is what i want to achieve basically. My water params have been good and stable but my nitrates and phosphates have always been undetectable with drip tests. I think that might have been a problem for my mag that has been slowly getting worse over the past 5 months. Possibly my lights have been a bit low as well.

I think I lost a very small coral beauty angel to the nems, although I'm not entirely sure. One day it was swimming around and the next....gone. I didn't find him on the floor. Mags have an aggressive sting, but not nearly as sticky as a Haddoni carpet. I will no longer put any fish in this tank, other than clownfish, chromis, or damsels. It's just not safe for any other fish really.

@@Sonofgaladriel1 Actually I have bubble tips on my rockworks And magnificent anemone on top of aquariums Tank size 5 feet / 2 feet / 2 feet I have a plan to keep fishes also As magnificent anemone on top of back glass so my sand sifting/ bottom dwelling fishes probably will be safe. . And I have plan to keep few large fishes including foxface, regal tang , powder blue tang Lets see probably there will be enough fishes for the fishes . Otherwise I have to resell those magnificent anemone As I only can't keep nems on the tank .. I was talking another guy on RUclips video he was telling he had not lost a single fish to mag . He has only one mag and it's about 2 ft wide My assumption if there is enough space between nem and fishes they are on safer side ..

@diptadas6416 I have a school of 6 chromis and they have been swimming very close to these Mags for a year without any problems. I have a video of a chromis sleeping right under one of my Magnifica's. I'll post it.

Thank you for the compliment! I've had these Gyres running almost 100% for 2 years now and only once has a Mag gotten stuck, but not chewed up, and that happened just last week! The gyres have a mesh cover that keeps the nems out of the impellers.
