I love this song
Thanks so much for your kind words. That's a great idea, I'll definitely look into that. That's such a shame the other video was removed.
Thanks, Andy! Please let me know if you do that! :-)
Hi! Love the song and the video. Nice job and thanks for posting. It would be great if you or someone could take the video you used and overlay the original Barry Mann recording. Someone did this a while back, but their account was removed and the video was lost. Is that doable? It would be great to have that back in the RUclips collection. :-)
I love your song!🎉
Thank you very much fit for your kind words.
As far as I understand... The plot is this. The mum is right up at the top of the flat and the kids are on street level. The kid wants a sandwich, and the mum can't go down... So throws the sandwich down for the kid to catch. But the sandwich goes everywhere but the kids hands. Hence, against the odds.
That sounds spot on to me. Thanks for listening 🙂
@@andymckeen100 Song is similar in tune to "does the chewing gum lose its flavour" my Lonnie donnigan. And did the mums wrap the "pieces" up. Or lob the sandwiches bare. Straight out the window... Splat on a car roof.... Or donk on a plane. No wonder the kids didn't eat the piece... Its in orbit.
😍
I looked up the words and got choked up. A song fitting for times.
I must admit i've had a few tears in my eyes singing it Eric! thanks

For someone who doesn't speak Gaelic, this is stunning! I can confess that Andy spent many, many hours learning the lyrics phonetically, with the help of a fantastic Gaelic speaking lady! Bravo!!!!!!!
He's my partner and I have no clue what he's singing!!!! :)
